Is this returnable? I have a XL Grill Dome kamado. The inside diameter is 221/2" and the outside diameter is 251/2" . It looks to me like a perfect fit, however I couldn't get a positive answer from your customer service. I'm very interested in this product, but I don't want to get stuck with it because no-one can say it will fit. I know I'm not the only person who has a Grill Dome, and I sure others are interested. I don't have a big green egg handy to measure, but I guess I can run up to the local dealer and measure one id necessary. Thanks

Hello! this looks great but I'm concerned about the mess in the bottom of the smoker (BJIII) or flame ups from no drip pan and grease on the hot coals, is that a concern?

Hello. If you are concerned about flareups or grease dripping, what you could do is put a small drip tray directly underneath the spit, and have the coals off to either side, this way you will still get direct heat on your food and the grease will drip straight down into the pan.
