Question:
The information gives a "heating area", say 11' X 11' for the 4000 watt unit. What is not clear as to what they consider when determining the area. We have a 3 season room in northern Illinois- no drafts in winter but obviously we get pretty cold. If the heater is mounted at 9" for people seated beneath it, will it be comfortable if the temperature in the room was say 20 degrees or even lower?

This heater can heat areas that are 80 ft² comfortably, but as long as the temperature difference stays below 20 degrees, most people in and around the expected area should feel fairly comfortable and warm. Question:
A cross beam above our outdoor patio is about 14' above the dining area (in Colorado). Is that too high to install an infrared heater or two? Or should it be suspended somehow from the beam?

Answer:
Great question Michael! The suggested mounting height for this model is between 8-12 feet to heat an area of 9 X 10 feet. It is not recommended to suspend the heater from the beam. By raising the height over 12 feet, you may lose some square footage, but you can install the heaters directly overhead and do not have to angle them towards the area you are trying to warm. However, the 61-Inch (WD6024SS-BLK) model can heat an area up to 11 X 11 feet with the suggested mounting height of 12-14 feet!

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
