Great size for two people. Easy to put together. I initially put the recommended amount of charcoal (12-15 pieces), but we needed to almost double it. When it cooled down, it was easy to clean and put away. Definitely recommend.

If there is any doubt, buy this little grill....Heavy-duty, well made, perfect size (only wish I had bought the deluxe model that has a lid keeper built in)

Very easy to put together, with good instructions and enough parts. I'm in my 60s, not an experienced griller, and I used it for the first time last night, for brats, baked potatoes, and toasting the buns. It worked perfectly, as expected. My deck is windy, and the lid meant the coals had a chance to ignite, rather than being blown out (as happened with my hibatchi.) My only concern is that the handle on the lid got VERY hot,and I was almost burned when I started to grab it without a pot holder. The molded plastic is a bit deceptive that way.

I've had my Smokey Joe grill for at least 20 (+) years! It's by far the greatest grill ever!! I recently loaned it out and it was handled was the only thing damaged. I'd highly recommend this grill for beginners and enthusiasts. It had brought me much joy! Thank you Weber for such a wonderful product!

Smoky Joe grill is my go to grill for cooking steaks. I get it really hot and throw the steaks on get a great sear keeping all the juices. Smoky Joe is the best.

The grill was easy to assemble, very sturdy, and works great for camping. Too bad they don't have the hook on the lid so that you can hang it off the side of the grill, similar to their larger grills.

I have been using a smoke Joe since 1980 living in the mountains of Humboldt Co CA. The early models worked a whole lot better wit the air intakes on the sides of the bowl. I used to cover it to take advantage of the smoking effect. I would have to close all openings to get the coals to die out. This one puts the coals out even open. The air intakes get clogged with ash. This new one takes a lot more coals than the earlier models, doesn't get as hot and puts out the coals with the lid on and vet open.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
