Used outdoors for a few months one summer and brought the unit indoors for use after that. Motor burnt up after 2.5years. Doubt it has a years worth of run time on it. only 1 yr warranty.

My son had purchased this fan for his deck and I was so impressed with how quiet and powerful it was I came home and purchased mine. I wanted this fan not just to keep me cool but to keep the bugs away. It does both, I love it!

I purchased 10 of these fans - Loved everything about them EXCEPT we noted they had plastic pull chains. Guess what? If they break, and they do break-they cannot be repaired as per what the NEWAIR rep told me. So we have 4 of the 10 that are now unusable. They were kind enough to offer a discounted purchase price - but no changes have been made to this PLASTIC pull chain.

We went camping this summer and brought along a NewAir 20' Outdoor Rated 2-in-1 High Velocity Floor Fan. (Model #NIF20CBK00) With 3 Fan Speeds and an Adjustable Tilt Head, this fan kept us cool and protected us. We often had it pointed at the door to our camper, that way any mosquitos and bugs that wanted to come in were shooed away. Then, whenever we were hanging outside, we'd just move the fan towards us which helped cool it down, but also sent any bugs on their way - it must have saved us from hundreds of bug bites.

Hung this fan from a rafter in my garage and it helps to move air. The fan has 3 different speeds which is nice. It's not the quietest fan but it does move a lot of air.

I picked up the 20" outdoor fan and it is fantastic! It's super well made and I like that all of the components are metal unlike most fans I see that are plastic. The fact that it's also IPX4 waterproof also means that I can have confidence that it's going to last even if it gets a little wet. We use this under our pergola on our back deck and since it is so easy to put into it's mount, we just take it down when we're not using it and store it in a deck box. Then when we're entertaining or sitting out on the deck, we toss it up and turn it on! It moves a ton of air and helps keep temps down for everyone sitting on our deck. Overall, I think this is a super nice fan for the money and it will make your outdoor space even better!

We purchased this fan to help cool off my horse during the summer months. It is very well made & the motor is enclosed, so perfect for this location, since there is a lot of dust in a horse barn. It is also appropriate for a wet location (not in my case) We mounted it up over the top of the stall, pointed somewhat down. It was probably about 10 feet up and well secured to the stall structure. We attached an extension cord that had a remote switch on it so that the fan could be turned on without the need to climb on a ladder each time it was to be used. This worked out very well & the fan ran about 10 hours per day during the super hot summer (as long as there was someone in the barn to turn it off). We used the fan for just short of two summers until something happened to the fan without anyone (human or horse) touching it - one of the blades of the 3-blade assembly sheared nearly off the blade assembly. We contacted Newair's customer service and they have been super helpful! They are sending us a full replacement! (They even sent a return label) We are very satisfied by the assistance we received. Just wish we hadn't needed to make use of them, but are so glad they were able to help us! This is a great fan & really kept my horse comfortable while not making a lot of noise (also helpful for a horse barn).

We loved our Newair fan. we hooked the fan up to our pergola and sat out there all summer with the breeze from our Newair fan.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
