Napoleon Prestige PRO 500 4-Burner Propane Grill w/ Smart Technology - PRO500VXRSIBPSS

I didn't do my homework the grill was shipped pretty much apart. Only feature I did not have to put together, thankfully, was the main body. It was not easy to assemble. Missing only one part that I am aware of and it's not a piece that is that important. Also have a burner knob on the infrared heater that is blinking red and sometimes blinks red/blue. Tried contacting customer service, unable to get a hold of anyone. Even tried "Chat" on a Wednesday at 3:00 PM and kept getting a message that they had no one available at that time and try back between 8:00-5:00 M- F. Customer service is suspect. Not sure it is usable with the blinking light so I have a very expensive grill not usable for the 4th of July weekend.

I bought the Prestige 500 pro connected. So far it has worked as advertised. The dealer I purchased it from delivered it assembled. I put the grill in manual mode and used it a few times. It worked with no issues. Heating was even. It functioned fine. I decided to try the seer station. So I plugged the grill in and flipped the switch to connected mode. It connected to my wifi w/ little difficulty. When I went to light it, it lit for 30 seconds then shutoff. I thought I ran out of propane. It wouldn't light, so I switched it back to manual mode and it lit fine. I used the seer station on a NY strip steak. I followed the directions on the you tube video on Napoleon's site. It was great. Great grill marks and very juicy. Next day I called the dealer about the grill not staying lit when in connected mode. They had no clue even though they assembled it. I called Napoleon support. The CSR connected to my phone, looked at the wiring in the grill and quickly determined the grill was not wired correctly. He walked me through the steps to connect the wires properly and everything worked as expected. So far, I've done basic burgers, dogs, chicken and steak. All have turned out great. Next up is the rotisserie. I just received the basket for father's day. looking forward to trying it. Other than testing the connected features (i.e. set it for 350 and forget it) I haven't tried the probes. I may try them eventually. I don't see a use for the charcoal basket because I feel the ash would find its way to places it doesn't belong. I use a ceramic smoker for charcoal cooking. I purchased the Napoleon cover at the time I purchased the grill. It seems adequate. We'll see after its first winter how it behaves. I hope the grille heats well in the winter too. As for my wife, this grill is right up her alley. I showed her how to set the temp and walked her through lighting the burners. She wants to use it like an oven and it can do that very easily. All in all, I highly recommend it! Happy grilling everyone!

Worst bbq I have ever bought. Left seer burning didn't even start without a match. Wtheck. Call their number at 7 in the morning 1 hour wait time. No wonder why they have a lifetime warranty. Duh

This is the Tesla of grills. The fit and finish and the quality materials is excellent. I've grilled with it several times already and the results are excellent. The grill is easy to clean. The grill arrived on a wooden pallet and in several boxes. It took me 32 to 3 hour sessions in order to complete construction. I gave the grill four stars identified because the gas regulator was not functioning properly. Service was excellent and I just received a replacement part yesterday. I've replaced it and will test the function of the regulator later today. Highly recommend this grill.

A must have for your bbq grilling! Great customer service the sear station is amazing as well as the charcoal insert.

I am still unsure how the smart screen works. There is not much information in the literature or online. We are lucky to have a recent you tube video for assembly. We could not have done it with the instructions alone.

I am in love with my new Prestige Pro 500 grill! Napoleon has added so many great new features like the automated temperature controls so I can perfectly monitor everything I cook. The app control has been a game changer. The smoker tray is awesome for adding extra flavor while grilling. You will not regret buying this grill.
