My knife came with several issues. There's a small chip in the steel just above the handle in the groove area. There are surface scratches near the tip of the blade, as well as unevenness in the thick area of the steel. There is also more black handle material on the right side vs the left side. After seeing the photos, Oklahoma Joes customer service denied a replacement saying that these were cosmetic issues and the knife could still function fine. Maybe I just received a bad one, but buy at your own risk. Oklahoma Joes did not stand behind the product in my case.

This cleaver and chef's knife has GREAT weight AND balance. This is my go-to knife any time that I need to chop cooked brisket or pork or chicken! Smoked meats CRUMBLE in its presence, but it also slices quite nicely for that firmer cook. You can't go wrong with this tool in your arsenal.

Excited, but a little disappointed. I can tell this is a very good quality life and I will get many years of great usage out of it and be able to pass it down to my kids. I am disappointed and didn't give it five stars, because it was dull when it arrived. I spent a half hour sharpening it on a diamond whetstone. That said, that speaks to the quality of the steel, because it took so long to put the edge on it. Aside from that, it is great. It is functionally and ergonomically extremely well thought out. It has a good weight and balance, and the sheath design is good because you can put it on a belt. I like that it's not just a blade cover, but that you can carry it on your side with you too picnics or barbecue competitions.

Used it once so far to spatchcock a chicken, works well, also carved the chicken and it remained sharp. I recommend cleaning and drying immediately after use.

Great knife but the top of blade has very sharp edges it cuts my fingers. The edges need to be softened so the the edges not so sharp

I bought this knife last summer cause I didn't have a good knife for cutting meat. It's my go to knife even when I'm not smoking or grilling for cutting meat. No complaints with this knife. Buy it.

I ordered this to slice top round. We smoke jerky quite often and needed a larger knife , when I opened the package I was quite impressed with the looks of this knife. It's balanced really well and feels great in my hand.the construction is amazing and it cuts like a knife 10 times as expensive. The seats is extremely well built. I couldn't be happier with it. Oklahoma Joe's products are first rate and of the highest quality. If your looking for a professional quality knife/clever this is it.

It's a great quality knife at a more than reasonable price! It's, as advertise, a polyvalent tool. It's sturdy enought for your tuff jobs and at the same time it's gentle enought for precise cutting!!!! It will carry the workload!! It's my go to tools now !!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
