I received this item from Napoleon in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoy the pan and would have definitely gotten it myself. I might even buy another. The hardiness of the pan is significant. It holds heat like a champ, and is great for high heat tasks like braising, but also low heat ones like simmering sauces. I have used it on my grill on both the sear station and regular grates, and both worked very well for warming sauces and cooking other side dishes. I also use this pan inside the house on my stove, and it is the perfect companion to my other cookware. I think I will be enjoying this pan for a very long time. I would recommend this product to add to your lineup of cast iron cookware.

I hesitantly call this a sauce pan as I have been using it for a lot more things. Out of the box, the first thing you experience is the weight to it- substantial yet easily manipulated. Cast iron is my favorite material to cook with. Distributed heat well, keeps its temp and easy to clean as its nonstick as well. I've used this on my Napoleon as well as stovetop. The first thing I made in the pan was a soup for date night. The aesthetic of this pan with its dual pour spots and midnight black color made for an impressive presentation. The photos attached are of mashed potatoes and rack of lamb. I'm interested in other sizes.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
