I recently used the Napoleon Multifunctional Warming Rack while grilling a full spread—chicken breasts, drumsticks, whole sea bream, and even a thick-cut T-bone steak—and I can confidently say this accessory delivers on every level. Right out of the box, the quality is unmistakable. The heavy-duty stainless steel construction feels durable and premium. The sleek, modern design not only looks fantastic but is incredibly functional. The slots and holes are intelligently placed for hanging wings and drumsticks, resting fish, or warming vegetables and buns. One small feature I absolutely love is that I can pull the accessory rack forward slightly, giving me better distance from the rear infrared burner when I don't want the full blast of heat—this bit of adjustability makes a big difference in controlling the cook. Here's what I grilled: • Chicken drumsticks: Hung from the rack—perfectly cooked, no turning needed, and visually striking • Chicken breasts and wings: Juicy, nicely charred on the main grate • Whole sea bream: Stuffed with citrus and herbs, gently roasted on the upper rack using infrared back heat • T-bone steak: Seared below while the rest cooked above—zero crowding The additional cooking surface made it easy to manage multiple proteins at once. Nothing was overcooked or rushed. Plus, being able to finish delicate items like fish and poultry on the rack using indirect heat added a layer of control I didn't have before. Another huge plus: it's incredibly easy to clean. Despite all the cooking, a quick wipe-down with a grill brush and damp cloth was all it took. The stainless steel resists residue and wipes clean effortlessly. This accessory has completely elevated my grilling setup. It's not just a warming rack—it's a strategic cooking tool that adds control, capacity, and serious visual flair. Whether you're grilling for a few or feeding a crowd, this rack delivers versatility and performance that make it a must-have.
I received this multifunctional rack to try out, and overall, it's a solid piece of equipment. The build quality is excellent—very sturdy, thick metal that feels like it'll hold up well over time. As a basic warming rack, it does the job just fine. That said, I do miss the standard grill bars for certain things, like sausages, which tend to roll around on this surface. The design feels a bit too specialized to be truly "multifunctional." The holes are meant to hold items like jalapeños or stuffed mushrooms, but sizing can be tricky—some jalapeños are too small and fall through, others too big to fit. Outside of poppers, mushrooms, fish, or chicken drumsticks, I had a hard time figuring out what else to cook on it. It's a nice idea, but I think it would benefit from a bit more flexibility in its design.
I was able to use the product a few times. It worked great for putting peppers on the upper grill but also the one that originally came with the Napoleon Grill worked fine as far as the hanging bracket I have not able to try chicken wings I have hung a few legs on there after they were cooked and it seemed to work well. The overall quality of the product is great
This warming rack is a true changer! I made the best grilled salmon that I've ever had by using this rack. Not only was able to make a delicious salmon fillet, I paired it by cooking some stuff jalapeños the fit perfectly on this rack!
Works great very well thought out .Used it nonstop and it's holding up great a MUST HAVE!!!!
Well, the new warming rack for my prestige pro is a great peice of equipment, it is well constructed and a little bit heavy, which I like I have used this to make Oysters Rockefeller and to smoke a Bluefish fillet both with excellent results. I can't wait to see experiment with this further. As with all Napoleon items it is very well made and I expect this to serve me well for many years to come.
Napoleon gave me the Multifunctional Warming Rack – 71500 to test. Overall, it can be a helpful feature if you are grilling for a large group or cooking items like chicken wings, fish, or other small cuts of meat. It prevents items from falling through the grates or sticking to them. It can also serve as a replacement for the standard warming rack. I have attached some photos to show it in use.
I received this Multifunctional Warming Rack for my Prestige PRO500 for free from Napoleon in exchange for my honest review. Cooking Chicken Legs This shelf is solid, made of thick galvanized stainless steel and well thought out for chicken legs, especially. I made them several times with success each time; it was very easy cooking without having to turn regularly to prevent burning. I even wrapped a couple with bacon held on by a single toothpick and the bacon cooked evenly and still allowed for crispy skin beneath on the chicken leg. Pretty impressive. I always just took the time to turn the legs as needed, but this warming rack is the only way I will do them in the future. They come out that good and it's so simple. Playing Around To get the full effect of it's multi-use, I cooked a bunch of different things along with the chicken legs. (see pics) I tried stuffed peppers and mushrooms on the back areas with the holes and they came out perfect. An important thing to note if you're going to do this, though, is the size of the vegetables, as they tend to shrink and get softer during cooking, but again, it's easily resolved with a toothpick on the vegetables that may be on the small side. Carrots cooked decent upright in the front set of holes as well, but did tend to burn a little more at the bottom, probably because they get so thin near the end. Another way I used this was to make breakfast quesadillas (no pics, sorry!). I cooked the bacon on the upper rack and eggs on my side burner, then assembled and cooked the entire quesadilla on the top right area, which came out excellent with some nice looking grill marks! The bacon cooked fine, but if I do it again, I'll separate the pieces a bit, as it just didn't crisp the way we like it when kept together. Design Overview Before I used this piece, I tested temperatures with my thermometers to get a better understanding of heat on the top and bottom shelves compared to each other and found the warming rack to be about 20% hotter than the bottom grill when the lid is fully closed, which is good to know, as sometimes you may put food up there thinking it may be a bit cooler since further from the flame, but that's only true with the lid open, I discovered. A nice design feature I noticed is there are 10 spots for legs, which is exactly how many come in 2 packages at my local grocery store. Perfect, and not overcrowded, ensuring a balanced cook. The flat part of the rack and different sized holes lets me experiment and try grill multiple types of foods at the same time. Only thing I noticed on this product that I think could be better is the angled portion on the left and right side of the rack doesn't extend all the way out to the front of the rack and I'm not sure why, but that extra width of angle is what allows it to fit tight in the shelf area. By not extending out to the full length, the rack has a small gap on one side or the other in the front. Still completely functional and stable, since the rear portion holds it pretty securely in place, but I feel it would strengthen up the front a bit differently. Overall, though, I would absolutely consider this as a nice accessory for any griller with many uses, especially those that like to go beyond burgers and dogs.

I received the multifunction warming rack free from Napoleon for testing purposes. The product came in OEM packaging and was easy to install as it slid into the same location as the wire warming rack included in my original purchase of this fabulous Napolean Prestige grill. It is made of stainless steel and looks great installed in the grill. Honestly, I found the multifunctional warming rack a litte underwhelming at first. The front row of holding slots are for allowing your food to hang down however the heat from the bottom burners slowly roasted the food. For a quicker sear, the backburner was needed and it was a "guessing game" to determine how well the food is cooked from the back-side. Food had to be removed the rack and turned to acquire a proper cook. In my opinion, this would be excellent smoking rack if you set up your grill for indirect cooking using the Napolean smoking box. The slotted vents towards the rear of the MFWR are a great location for roasting a potato and does a great of this as the convection heat to the top of the grill cover bakes the food gently. Towards the left rear of the MFWR are several rows of various size holes. I'd like to hear other reviews as to how these are utilized, as my first thought is to place seasoned whole carrots in the opening and vertically roasting them. In my opinion, these holes should be replaced with the same vents as the right side of the rack. I look forward to experimenting other foods to cook on this warming rack as it definitely has alot of potential.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
