I received this roaster in exchange for my honest review. This roaster is well made and very sturdy. I roasted a 1.7 lb. chicken in under 2 hours at 350 degrees. A can of beer was added to the base and the chicken came out very moist. The breast was done before the dark meat so I cut-off the legs and left them on the grill a little longer. Clean-up of the base and drip pan was very easy. The infuser cone had to be soaked to clean it better. Suggestion: Although there are many recipes available online, it would be nice to have instructions and recipes included with the roaster (my grill came with a great recipe book).
I finally got to try my new chicken infuser roaster and I really liked it. It cooked quickly and my chicken was very moist. The vegetables were great as well. Cleaned easy too. I love my Napoleon grill and other products
Off the bat, I want to recognize that I received this product from the manufacturer in exchange for an honest review. Here is that review... I truly enjoy this product. In using it I noted a couple of things. Mostly, this is a great product with one glaring omission. In my opinion, this one thing - if included in a future revision of the product - would make this a five-star item. Let's start with the good. It is well made, large enough to support a variety of different sized birds as well as a cornucopia of chopped veggies in the tray. First time out we cooked a whole chicken which turned out super moist and flavorful, along with potatoes, onions, and carrots in the roasting tray. Also, it breaks down into a few pieces for easy cleanup and easy storage. Finally, the pan at the bottom collects and recirculates the drippings along with whatever liquid you start it out with... Which brings me to the big miss - at least as far as I am concerned... There is no way when this thing is screaming hot to retrieve the collected juices to use for an au jus or a gravy. The roasting tray fits tightly into the pan and there are no handles or notches to allow the roasting tray to be easily separated from the bottom pan. I'll probably look into creating some sort of notch which I can insert a butter knife or spatula into, or attaching at least a single handle of sorts to allow the two parts to easily separate so the juices can be retrieved. Only other note is that I will probably get some silicone handle covers which will aid in quickly moving this around the grill so that the infrared burner can brown both the top and the bottom of the bird like you would get using a rotisserie (left the bird turned one way too long and too close, hence the black spot on the breast skin in the photos below). Overall, I enjoy this product and expect to get a lot of use out of it. One small design change and this is a five-star item

I was given the Roaster to test by Napoleon. I have used other beer can chicken type roasters in the past, but they are all small stand-alone units that require a 2nd pan to place them on. I do like that the Pro Chicken Infusion Roaster is an all in 1 option. The stainless steel cleans very easy. Because of bad weather I've only been able to use this in the oven, but it still turned out a juicy chicken with crispy skin. My only complaint is the juice from the chicken runs through the holes in the top pan so you can't cook other vegies in those juices at the same time. However, almost by accident, I ended up removing the chicken/top pan and cooked my vegies in the bottom liquids like its own roasting pan. This was a pleasant surprise. This roaster itself is kind large for storage, but overall, I was very pleased with its ease of use.
I was given the PRO Chicken Infusion Roaster to test by Napoleon and used it with my Napoleon Rogue 425, which I purchased. The quality of the PRO Chicken Infusion Roaster is made of a high quality stainless steel. It's a 3 piece, so it's easy to clean and store. This was my first time using an infusion roaster with the indirect heat method, but it's easy to use and the chicken was moist with a crispy skin.
I purchased this unit about a month ago, after systematically investigating purpose-built Beer Can Chicken products. I initially purchased thinking the bottom "drip pan" would be worth it even if the chicken roasting wasn't all that. That much is true and valid. Since then, however, I've experimented and verified that this unit actually steams into a chicken's body cavity (I weighed how much liquid cooked off into the bird). I wish Napoleon would publish or blog usage instructions/recommendations, including volumes of liquids to fill the lower pan, and whether to use direct or indirect heat. I think the concept is sound, and I look forward to exploring this further.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
