I received the Rogue® PRO 425 SIB free from Napoleon for testing purposes. The grill was delivered on a pallet, very well packed. It took me roughly 3 hours to assemble. I was going slow and making sure I didn't scratch anything! Everything went together well the first time. My first impression was that this was one nice looking grill. I finished assembling just as the sun was going down. The lighting on the knobs is a nice touch. The propane gas lines were all secure from the factory, no bubbles when testing for leaks. The initial burn off went fine. My inaugural session consisted of marinaded chicken tenders. My old grill would take around 20 minutes to get up to temp, but this was ready to go in about 5 minutes. The burners lit right up with a solid whoosh. The cast iron grates held the heat well and cooked great. For the second round I had to use the infrared side burner. It was my first time ever using one and boy does it throw some heat. I seared some fillet mignon in just a few minutes. One of the tricks I saw online was to use salt only because pepper will burn for the intense heat. It gave a great crust. Overall, the grill is very sturdy and looks great. I appreciate the bottle opener and folding side arm. I'm looking forward to grilling even more than I normally do.

This grill is hard to beat! I needed a more compact grill and came across the Rogue Pro series. The 425 fits my needs perfectly and honestly feels bigger than comparable models with the large searing side burner. I have had grills in the past with a standard side burner and never used them. If I need to cook baked beans I can do that in the house. I was intrigued by the searing zone since I could cook steaks at high temps and get a really nice sear. The Rogue Pro ended up being the winner and the searing side burner has made all the difference with my steaks and pork chops. I have the flexibility to cook the way I want at multiple heat settings throughout the grill!
Receipt and Assembly The unit arrived on a pallet and the packaging protected all of the contents perfectly. I don't think I've ever received a product so well packed and protected. Assembly was quite straightforward and simple. You assemble the base first and it went together easily and was very sturdy. I've assembled grills like this without assistance in the past and I believe I could have done the same with this one however, I opted for an extra set of hands to place the grill itself on the stand. I believe it took me a little over an hour to completely assemble the unit as I took my time to make it perfect. Preparation and Cooking As advised by Napoleon, you should turn the grill on high and let it burn off the interior oil used to protect the grill before attempting to cook anything on it. After that, I opened a package of my favorite meat to cook, Nolan Ryan Flank Steak for Fajitas. I pre-heated the grill for 10 minutes and the temperature registered 550 degrees when I threw the meat on it. I placed it on the grill and let it cook on one side for 3 minutes and then flipped it for another 3 minutes on side B. During the cooking, the temperature rose to 650 degrees. I took it off the grill and the steak turned out perfectly. Thoughts I've had various grills over the years from big box hardware chains to high-end grills from appliance dealers. I've used them at least a couple of times/week consistently. None of them lasted more than a couple of years before major malfunctions. I was in need of a new grill and visited a high-end barbecue store to educate myself on the best brands. I saw several options that cost thousands and then I saw Napoleon grills. I was incredibly impressed at their build quality, their heavy duty feeling and their incredible 15 year warranty. That sold me on the brand and the Rogue Pro 425 with Infrared Side Burner. It's a superior grill for the price you will pay.
This is a really well built BBQ with excellent searing capabilities. I put it together in about 2 hours, and a quick tip, open up the firebox and remove everything before trying to fit it! That was my biggest issue as it was quite heavy with everything in it! Also the wiring for the sear is held in with a tie clip and this should be snipped before getting the wiring in (its not part of the instructions). Onto the real part of the review. This is an excellent bbq, it gets hot really quickly and is very controllable. The sear station (left hand section) is amazing and cooking steaks as it gets really hot really quickly and does exactly what it says. Sears the steak and keeps it really juicy. My only reason for giving it 4 stars at the moment is that the grates on the main section of the grill seem to be quite rough and this makes the food stick to it. It may be that I need to repeat the seasoning for the grill and get them hotter for longer, but I'll do this and then maybe update this review. I also bought the griddle plate which is excellent, its very smooth and easy to clean and food is not sticking to this, so it may stay in the bbq permanently! I did get the charcoal and smoking add on as well, but haven't had a chance to use this yet. Maybe I'll get the chance over Easter
I've been thinking about upgrading my barbecue grill four months Had the opportunity to see a demo of the Napoleon rogue series at a local home improvement store Was particularly impressed with the 15 year warranty after doing some additional research I now understand how that warranty is possible The grill is significantly higher quality than others that I've seen for residential use Cast tire and grilling plates give a wonderful sear and add to the sturdiness of the grill My rogue 450 has three different temperature controls, allowing for multiple ingredients to prepare just right As well as the left sided searing station Great design sturdy feel quality materials. Give me the reassurance that this grill is going to last.

Rouge® PRO 425 SIB w/Infrared Side Burner (Stainless Steel Propane Gas) Grill First before anything else, this product was sent to me to test free of charge. No strings attached, just an honest upfront review. Upon receipt, the packaging was excellent. If you don't mind spending some time setting up the unit, it is a great way to have it arrive. Setup was basic, nothing out of the ordinary in gas grill setup. You will need two people to lift the main body of the unit to the stand, as it is a very solid unit. If you elect to have one already assembled, make sure all components are tight after the trip from your retailer to your home. My assembly took just under 2 hours. I tested the unit with my existing propane tank, presto, all burners ignited, and the searing side burner did as well. The cabinet rolls extremely well on the ball bearing casters so moving it was a breeze. Once at its location, locking the wheels made the unit very sturdy and unmovable. I tempered the grates, stainless steel for about 30 minutes. There was a little smoke from the initial burn in, but nothing compared to others I have done. My first grill on the unit was steak with beans and vegetables. There is plenty of room for much more grilling items and the space I used made access to everything very easy. I initially seared the steaks on the searing burner and was that ever a treat! Perfection in just a few minutes. I moved the steaks to the main grill with the beans and vegetables, along with a fresh jalapeno on the warming rack. Because I seared the steaks beforehand, I did not need to spray the grill with any high heat spray or other oil. Nothing stuck to the stainless-steel grates. Cooking time was very quick because of the efficiency of the burners, flavor bars and the tight seal of the lid. In less than 20 minutes, the meal was fully cooked. I might add, the meat was very juicy and flavorful because of the searing beforehand. After the meal, clean up was a breeze. The grates easily are removed and cleaned, so the cooking surface looks brand new. Overall, my impression and use of the Napolean Rouge Pro 425 SIB Propane gas grill is excellent. The quality of materials, its design, and overall operation make the one of the better grills I have owned over 40 years. I can whole heartly recommend this grill to anyone who enjoys grilling, loves the taste of great grilled meals, and appreciates a quality-built product with a warranty that is second to none in the grilling industry in my mind. Hope you find this useful and enjoy it as much as I do.
Just received unit and not able to assemble until I get home in May so further reviews will be posted at that point of time. However my deliver was sent earlier then was wanted so it was quite a gong show to say the least but worked out in the end! Was told by trucker it was 493 pounds!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
