I was thinking about how to improve my outdoor cooking equipment when I received an email about the Flammkraft grill. My 3 year old pellet grill was rusting out and the electronics had shorted out. My egg was a pain to maintain at a consistent temperature and I was tired of all the ashes. The Flammkraft looked interesting but I had to ask for a more detailed brochure to get a better feel for it. I have had it now for about a month and I am very happy with it for many, many reasons. First, the engineering and construction is brilliant, similar to what you would expect from a German automobile. There are so many small features that are so well thought out compared to other grills. For example, the grill has wheels that are easily recessed with a couple of levers once you have it in place. Followed by 4 screw down legs that allow you to secure it in place. All grills have a cover, but this one has a zipper along one corner that makes it so easy to remove and replace the cover. And the whole grill, including the grates is manufactured from stainless steel. I once had an expensive stainless steel gas grill that ended up falling apart because the screws, drawer slides and heating components were not humidity proof. The Flammkraft appears to have been designed and manufactured to last a very long time. Even though this grill runs on a tank of propane, it does not have any flames, but rather uses infrared heat to cook. This has been much easier to get used to than I thought and I like the way that you have a variation of temperature across the grill for cooking different types of food. So far I have tried steaks, chicken, hotdogs, and swordfish. All have been easy to cook, with the swordfish being the one I was most concerned about. But it worked great at 3 minutes per side, turning 90 degrees at the 1.5 minute point to end up with perfect crosshatching. So to summarize, I really like the construction and design and after a month of use I have no regrets. I even had a tornado hit my neighborhood 10 days ago, and while all of my outdoor furniture blew around and was damaged, my Flammfraft didn't move due to its weight and the great stabilization system. I also purchased the pizza stone, teppanyaki grill, and wok. I haven't used them yet but once I do I will update my review.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
