Love my smoker. Only problem is getting parts for. Their web page won't let you lookup or find parts for. Trying unsuccessfully to obtain the plug that blocks off the unused smokestack hole. I got one they sent and it's somewhat smaller.

I've had this smoker just under a year now. I was holding off to give it a shot before doing my review. If you're new and learning to smoke, it's ok, just prepared to extend your cook. Mine did not hold temps well; I had to purchase a thermal blanket to hold my temp so I wouldn't have to go through so much fuel and around the seams, it's burnt my thermal blanket. I have to use a fan for the firebox to push to heat into the cooking chamber. If I didn't use the fan, the cook chamber would not get equal heat throughout. The metal is only about 1/16 inches thick and allows your outside temperature to directly impact a cook because the metal would get cold and drop your internal temps drastically. The firebox cannot handle to temps needed to keep the cook chamber at temp. The paint chipped, bubbled and flaked off after the first cook. I had to sand the box 3 times within the year, even using high temp spray paint it still flakes off easily. The legs on my smoker do not like being moved often so if you purchase it, plan to park it and leave it. Moving it in and out of my garage it flexed the legs to where the metal wheels are now caulk eyed. I also had to drill a hole for the legs, the plug, and the chimney so the bolts could actually hold things in place, otherwise you'll strip the bolts getting it tight so they don't move. Again, for a new person learning an offset, it's not bad but there is better out there for a little more money. I've had mine just under a year and I'm already looking at other smokers.

I really thought it was just hype. The way this reverse flow works at even flowing the heat and smoke allows you to fill the space on the service with anything you want and not have to turn, flip, adjust or move anything. It will cook completely even on the entire grill space. I've done everything you can do in it and it never disappoints. If I had a complaint it would be that it could be taller and better fit in the legs and stack, but I'm 6'4 and it's probably good for most people.

I have had an Oklahoma Joe's smoker model #15202031, since 2017. It is a good smoker-grill, but I am trying to find a pair of short legs for the steel wheels, and can't find them any where. I am at an end with the frustration in this matter. My manual does not list any part numbers for the legs or any other parts. I would like to get a pair of the short legs as soon as possible, but don't know where to look. Thanks....
I rated this a 3 because of: When I placed the order it was in stock and after 2 weeks of not hearing anything I called customer service. The order had to be canceled due to availabilty I believe. I was in a time crunch to get a new grill for my first Competition so I settled for the Highland version. It worked great, however I wanted more room that the Longhorn offers! :(

I've had my grill for 5 years. I love the operation/performance. Only reason i didn't give it a 5 star. They need to put a straight heavy axle and bearings for the wheels. If you roll the grill around the pin axles bend easily.
I received this as a gift from my wife. Although it is not the most expensive smoker it is a great product for those ready to commit to a smoker. With careful assembly and a few modifications, it is a great smoker. I've had mine for almost 3 years and use it at least once a month for family BBQs. The paint did peel on the fire box but I just keep it protected with baking spray and it hasn't been a problem.
Bought mine last year, cooked over a hundred butts since then, and I am in love with it. Best reverse flow out there, planning on getting another one.

I bought my longhorn smoker about a year ago and I love it. Everything that I have cooked on it has come out great. The grill construction is topnotch. Putting the grill together was challenging because of the weight and I did by myself, it would have been easier with a second person. this was my first smoker grill and as I said before I love it.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
