Oklahoma Joe's Longhorn Reverse Flow Smoker - 17202053

I bought the Oklahoma Joe Longhorn Reverse Flow Smoker and was immediately disappointed. During assembly, I discovered that a hole on the firebox lid was drilled incorrectly, making it impossible to finish putting it together. When I contacted customer support, I expected some kind of solution—maybe a replacement part or a new unit—but instead, I was flatly told to return it. I then tried to exchange the smoker, and that turned into an even bigger mess. I was told someone would pick up the defective unit and drop off a new one. The scheduled day came and went—no one showed up. Then I was told I'd have to wait another month, which conveniently would have put me past the return window. At that point, I gave up and just requested a refund. Even that took a full month to process. Between the defective product, lack of support, and terrible logistics, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I really wanted to like this smoker, but the hassle just wasn't worth it. Save yourself the headache.

I bought this grill 1 month ago to prepare for my brother in law coming to visit. He is a pit master and I wanted to impress with new grill. He was impress with bubbling paint on fire box. Junk.

Leaks out of so many places. Firebox paint bubbles. Pretty disappointed. Especially after how much I paid

I know it's not the original, And it's mass produced, But it reminds me of something I bought off Temu. The design is in Oklahoma Joe, but much smaller. The quality craftsmanship is definitely not Oklahoma Joe. No matter how tight the fittings smoke rolls out the seams. Better bring your metrics Sockets because your standard sockets won't fit… Even though it listed a standard sizes.

The quality is better that the three grills that I've had in the past for the same money.

Put it together yesterday and did a seasoning on it and the paint/coating started to smoke and bubble up. Once it was cool it flaked off. This is my 2 nd smoker the first one is a Longhorn combo. Had it for 4 years, it, never once flaked or bubbled the paint.

Just bought the longhorn reverse flow and put it together. For the price it could be better. After removing the box I found a 6 inch long crease dent on the back of the cooking chamber. On the front of the smoker on the lid just below where the right side temp guage goes, there is a round, very rough section about 4 inches in diameter, with no paint on it. Oklahoma Joe needs to reinforce the end of the cooking chamber where the fire box bolts on because once the fire box is installed, it immediately sags.

Easy to install, looks incredible!!! Was extremely proud of my new smoker until I seasoned it. I followed the directions in the book and not a YouTube video and the metal started warping and the paint started to chip!! I contacted customer service not looking for a handout or anything free but I at least wanted my fire box replaced but i got nowhere and they offered to send me touch up paint!!! I would not recommend this smoker to anyone unfortunately.

Works ok, leaks smoke from everywhere even with gasket seals on it, and the paint job can't handle ANY heat. First time I used it, the paint came right off the top and bottom of the firebox.

Works great! Arrived earlier than expected. Love the option to smoke traditional or reverse flow.
