I ordered mine 4-5 months ago. Got lucky and it was on sale and shipping was free. Have used it several times smoking brisket, prime rib, pork butt, chuck roast, turkey, chicken, beef and pork ribs. My learning curve has been pretty short. Every thing cooked was great. It's best to "baby sit" while cooking but I enjoy that. I did get the fire too hot while seasoning and some paint on the fire box bubbled a little but it was easy to touch up. I'd highly recommend!
I would like to actually receive my smoker. It's been several weeks

I bought mine 2 moths ago I've smoked a wide range of meats. I bought a 2nd thermometer to get a better reading on the inside temperature. The left side runs 25-50 degrees warmer than the right side no matter what adjustments I make. I consider a professional Chef I've worked in a restaurant for many years. I always put my briskets & pork butts on the right side where I keep it at 225• but I get frustrated with the left side being 275* this can be solved with a better designed lower pans with proper holes. I've got a degree in mechanical engineering I've worked on race teams I understand what fine adjustments can make. Having larger hole on the right pan would solve this easily.

I bought this 6 months ago and love it! It makes great pulled pork and brisket. I sealed the cook and fire chambers and have constant temps across the entire cook chamber. It's not "set and forget" like my drum smokers; this requires attention for the entire cook to manage the fire, but the results are worth the effort. Recommend getting the blanket if you plan to smoke in the winter months.
Bought the smoker a month ago and have smoked three times in it. I knew before purchasing I dided need to install the gasket and latches (sold separately). My only issue is that the paint on the offset blistered and peeled the first time using. The instructions say to use high temp pain to touch up, which makes me believe they know it's an issue and aren't taking steps to fix. Other than that, the smoker works great and I like I can use whole logs to smoke.
I bought my first smoker after much research. I went with the highland reverse offset smoker. Assembly was easy. First fire and seasoning went fine. First time I used the smoker was for two pork butts. Almost all the paint on the offset above the firebox has bubbled up and came off. And that's with only one burn if you don't count the seasoning burn. Kind of disappointed.
Te directions to assemble were very straight forward and it took less than 2 hours. Looking forward to using it.
I've been looking for a grill for a long time. I became aware of Oklahoma's Joe on the Internet and searched for a while here in Mexico - and found it. I've never unpacked anything in my life and I knew it was forever. Now yes. An amazing quality. Many thanks from a German grill and smoker fan.

It would be so much simpler for ordering parts for your grill by having a picture of the grill to click on to… taking you to the that grills parts list. Instead of having to go find the model number…,

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
