I have had a Gravity 500 for about 3 years now and I love it. You get all the flavor of real wood and charcoal with the convenience of a pellet grill. The icing on the cake has to be going up to 700deg F to put a perfect sear on your steaks then turning around the next day and smoking a brisket at 225 all day on the same grill.

I have had this smoker for about two years and I love it. I love to smoke meat and I do it so often I have my freezer full. We are an empty nest now and I can't smoke as often I want. But when I do, I load it up (large cooking area) with everything and then freeze what's left, I bought this from my son in law who had bought it and then had another one delivered he didn't know his wife bought. He included a stainless steel replacement fire box which he said he had bought as the original thin metal used burns up. Sure enough I had to replace it, but it was simple. My biggest critic, my wife, said the first brisket I cooked on this grill was the best she had ever had. My advice, read and understand the instructions and be patient when you starting out. Enjoy.

The Gravity Series XT temperature control has not worked properly for the first two and only cooks. Temp fluctuations of 25-40 degrees above set temp. The hopper casing has at least on crack were smoke is escaping, not making it to the food.

The sensor in the top of the charcoal chamber wasn't working after one smoke. I was able to find some folks on Reddit with ideas and mess around with it with a screwdriver to get it to work. Needless to say this is WAYYY too much money to spend on something and have a component not work after one cook. Once up and running a great product. Very versatile.

I love this grill. I waited a few years to buy this grill. Glad I did, bc I got the upgraded new model. Does run through coal fast. Gives great flavor and has lots of room. Was hard to put together. Took 3 people to left it. Would buy again.

The XT was one of the best purchases I made this past year. I purchased mine after helping my son assemble the one he purchased, and then hearing his rave reviews. The ease of using it, the electronics, the app and link to my phone, and of course, most importantly, the results I get when grilling and smoking on it... This is an excellent grill/smoker.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
