Masterbuilt Gravity Series XT Digital Charcoal Grill + Smoker - MB20041223

This grill is a total game changer for me. It is so easy to use and all i have to do is set it and forget it. Everything I've cooked on it has come out just right and I couldn't be happier!

Build quality is excellent. Only fault is the temp controler and app. The temps between the controller and the app are not close at times. Master Built needs to revamp the temp controller. I used a ChefTemp to comparer the two. Some times there was a 150 degree difference. Did the burn in. Will be smoking this weekend. I recommend going to the web site and using the owners/instruction manual. Paper manual that comes in the box is good but the pics are dark, manual is much better. From what I have used the smoker so far I recommend it to all.

My masterbuilt vertical smoker quit working and I replaced it with the Gravity XT. What a difference. I now get a beautiful smoke ring on my brisket and that deep smoky flavor.

worked for about a week, now it won't turn on. Turned back on one day, now it's unresponsive again. Works great when it works... we'll see how the customer service experience goes, I'll update this review accordingly.

I purchased the gravity XT with the hopes of using it for this past memorial day cooking. The unit arrived with out the correct legs. I contacted customer service and created a ticket. I sent pictures of the legs and the bracket on the grill showing how they could not possibly work. Customer service asks for pictures with the legs in place on the grill. I provided those pictures as well. They agreed that the legs were wrong and would ship me news legs under warranty. It has been 2 weeks since they said they would send me a tracking number. I have had to contact them twice to ask for the tracking number and the response is that they have not received the tracking information from the shipper. Which means, they has not provided a package to the shipper yet. So, no memorial day cooking for me

Wow ! I just bought this beast and used it over Memorial Day Weekend . It is an incredible machine that imparts the kind of flavor that my family was looking for . The charcoal smoke really makes a difference . This tank of a grill kept a steady temperature , and made my cook( s ) perfect . For those of you on the fence on purchasing one , get one while you can .

From the moment I started to assemble, I felt the sturdiness and you can literally do it all smoke, grill, rotisserie and more, the temp settings are accurate and easily do a overnight cook with a full hopper. This is a beast that will last…

I bought this girl about a year ago I've enjoyed most all of the grill the only things I've had a problem is Bluetooth connection once the grill gets over 300 degrees it says max temp fault outside of that the taste I've gotten has been fantastic a big fan

I've had mine for about 8 months now. The versatility of this grill is like no other. Maintains temperature very well, recovers temperature losses quickly after opening grill to tend to the meats. Wonderful smoke flavor from lump charcoal, I like to add chunks of hickory, cherry or post oak to tailor the wood flavor to the meat I am cooking. Once you get the hang of lighting the charcoal (hint: shake out the charcoal grate in the hopper, this removes the ash that clogs airflow) this thing heats up quickly to 225° and gets to 700° in another 15 minutes and you can sear those steaks. Biggest piece of advice, clean out the ash on the regular. Ash will block air flow and heat from the hopper to the grilling area. * Best grill/smoker I own, haven't cooked on my pellet smoke since!

Just purchased the Gravity Series XT. One of the best decisions I have made. They have taken the time and pain out of charcoal cooking. The XT is a step above with all of the new improvements from the previous models.
