Masterbuilt Gravity Series XT Digital Charcoal Grill + Smoker - MB20041223

Been about a year since I bought the smoker. It does pretty well. The temperature controller could be a little better (the offset is pretty bad and it occasionally loses its mind) but overall its a great smoker and an adequate grill for higher temperatures for steaks and such. Just makes sure you clean the bottom well before going into searing temps as you will get a grease fire if you dont.

The "set it and forget it" of a pellet smoker with the flavor of an offset. The thicker steel and the new design of the door help hold the heat in so it's more efficient. The grate that the charcoal rests on is a major improvement over the previous versions. I do miss the grill grates from the previous gravity fed smokers.

The WiFi enabled smoker lets me watch the game while I expertly smoke a brisket or chicken or pork belly. No one needs to know how easy I really have it. My finance bought me the gravity smoker two years ago and now she is my wife.

Been a big fan of the master built gravity series since I got my 1050 when it first came out, I put that one through the ringer got a lot of great cooks out of it, and it still lasted enough for me to actually sell it and make room for the XT. I love the size of the XT and the new technology with the display is definitely an upgrade. I recommend this for someone that's looking to still add a touch of barbecue technique without fully sacrificing their time to get quality product out of their barbecue.

Yall, i cant express to you how happy I am with my XT! I made a bet with my boss at work where if i beet the company record in sales, he had to buy me this smoker (wife wouldn't let me til we bought a house) I won the smoker, got it Tuesday last week, and since then i've had 2 long cooks and some burgers. I'll share pics of my brisket, but I kid you not... this grill is a DREAM I also get free high end lamb in return for sharing my recipes and pics of the food I make, and this thing has ALREADY upgraded my lambfluencer game. LOVE THIS THING

I bought this because I was looking to replace my charcoal grill. I have 4 smokers already a propane powered one, a stock burner, a pellet smoker, and a bullet style charcoal smoker. The gravity CT has the easy usage of the pellet smoker with the versatility of a stick burner or charcoal smoker. I can use split pieces of wood. I can use pellets or chunks of wood mixed with charcoal. Love it

Do not buy this grill!! The grill died on me. Flat out stopped working. I have only had it for two months and only used it four times. I keep it in my shed when not using, so it wasn't exposed to the elements. They sent me a flow chart to follow and it wound up that the "controller" is dead. They can't send me a new one because so many are dying that they are on "back order". I asked for a refund because I didn't want to get another piece of garbage controller and have it die when I am not in warranty and be stuck sinking more money into this garbage. They said no only the retailer can refund and they already know it's been too long. Tldr: garbage died in two months. Can't fix because garbage controller is on "back order".

This is my 2nd gravity series and it is everything I wanted in my first one!

I've owned my XT for just over a year now. It's my first Gravity fed smoker and I'm very happy with it overall. I had Masterbuilt propane smokers prior to this one and I think this may be my best. I can grill ro smoke and the flavor is awesome. It took a while to get used to the temp control and what worked best, but I love testing and trying new things. In the end, it's all about the quality of the food I produce and my XT is better than any other smoker or grill I've ever owned.

This thing is awesome!! I smoked 4 poke butts at the same time no problem. I can fit 2 whole turkeys on here. Temperature is rock solid. Charcoal usage is pretty good. Heavy duty and I'm in love!
