Great grill! They knew what they were doing when they designed this one!

Used for the first time yesterday for Hawaiian Chicken Breasts and also asparagus, and both turned out great. My one major complaint - assembly instructions. Was very frustrated with the drawings and lack of detailed written instructions. I had to partly disassemble the grill three times as I was putting it together because either I used the wrong part or did not install it correctly. Pictures would help out a lot. The person who wrote the assembly instructions should be demoted to janitor......

Amazing grill! Highly recommend! Heats up fast, moves with ease.

Assembly was easy enough to do alone, but Weber made it harder than necessary. There were no printed instructions in the box—only a QR code that didn't even list my model. I had to guess and pick a similar one. For a premium brand, that's disappointing and lazy. The first few grilling sessions were phenomenal. Probably the best grilling experience I've ever had. For the first half-dozen uses, the grill performed flawlessly. But then the cleanup reality hit. The bottom of the grill collects a heavy buildup of grease and debris. The burners aren't easily removable, so cleaning under and around them is difficult. On top of that, the bottom surface either has too high of a coefficient of friction or not a steep enough angle to allow grease to flow properly into the drip pan. As a result, buildup stays put and leads to flare-ups, even when keeping temperatures below 475°F. Bottom line: When it's clean, it's fantastic. But Weber needs to rethink the bottom design to make cleanup easier and prevent flare-ups over time.

Replaced the Genesis that i had for over 20 years and has not disappointed.

This is my second Weber barbecue. The first one was a genesis grill that I had for fifteen years. Never had a problem with it but it was time for an updated grill. I didn't hesitate to choose a Weber grill and if I live long enough my next one will be a Weber. What I love most is the griddle insert. Smash burgers are 100% better on the barbecue and I don't have to invest in a third outdoor appliance, the patio gets crowded. So far my spirit grill works great and I like the digital thermometer. It smaller than the genesis but still enough for a party. The only con is that I wish they would have incorporated the frame for the inserts and storing the inserts is difficult.

First, I really like the footprint of this grill. It's never in the way of anything else on the patio. It heats up quickly and maintains the temperature throughout the cook. I cook for between 2 to 5 people and the grill size handles it all without crowding the food. My favorite feature has to be the sear zone. Turn on the zone and the Spirit EP-425 goes to another level. The sear zone is where steaks go to be "kissed." I have only had the grill for a month, but have used it 16 days. I assembled it myself with no issues there at all. The price point offers solid value given its feature set. As always, Weber customer service and warranty are truly top shelf. If you are shopping for a new patio partner, do yourself a favor and strongly consider the Spirit EP-425.

Service by email was great - but trying to locate a phone number to call was impossible. Otherwise, attention to my issue was excellent.

I purchased the Weber Spirit EP-425 (four caster wheels and digital thermometer; no side-burner.) Many of the supposedly "New" Spirits still have the annoying two plastic wagon-wheels and two peg legs. I hated it on my 2018 Weber Spirit II E-310 which this replaced. My only complaint are the burner knobs (the EP-425 has four.) I've actually left one on when I thought it was off. It is hard to explain, but they can be tricky. After a dozen grilling events, I now have it right. I think Weber has done a great job. I even bought the griddle insert (#6787), which will replace my stand-alone. Plus, I added the Griddle storage bag (#7035) to make storage more efficient when I switch. I recommend both items. There are similar looking new Spirit grills. I highly recommended making sure you get EP(Papa)-425 with Four Casters including the digital thermometer. I like that I'm able to see the precise temp from inside my house. The EP-425 also has a notable increase in cooking surface from my 310. I was tempted to stray from Weber, but once I saw the new EP-425, it was over. I think Weber hit a homerun. I grilled and griddled every day over 4th of July weekend. My family enjoyed it too!

Solid grill. Easy to build. Great cooks but seems like cheap materials were used. This grill has been great as far as allowing us to enjoy some great meals. It has been consistent in cook quality and all that. I've just already had a few spots on the "stainless steel" get rust or stains and it's only a few weeks old.
