I really like this wireless thermometer. It gives accurate temps. I've confirmed this with other thermometers. The app is very user friendly. I especially like the estimated time remaining feature and the ambient temperature feature. I only give it three stars because it is missing features which I think could take it to the next level. 1. The option for a declining alarm. After making pulled pork, or other long cook meats that require a rest period, it would be nice to adjust to a low temp alarm to see when the meat has dropped to a good level. 2. WiFi connectivity or optional WiFi bridge. If I have to leave for a short period of time, it would be nice to still be able to monitor temps.

I had difficulty connecting the device. I managed to use it once and then it never worked again. I contacted customer service-they sent me to their FAQ page which I had already used all troubleshooting steps. Then I got a link to an "online troubleshooting tool" which didn't work. I then spent over 20 minutes on the phone where the issue could not be solved. I was then transferred to someone "higher" in the technical chain who I had to repeat all the issues to and told me they weren't able to help. I then got an email that asked me to detail my phone model, the app I was using, the MAC adresss, firmware version, and my ninja account username and password. I replied that I was uncomfortable giving usernames and passwords. I received a reply that they can no longer assist me if I don't provide that info. I tried. It was a complete pain to deal with customer service. It was a Christmas gift so now I need to go back to the purchaser and ask them to initiate a return. Just don't bother. Buy another thermometer elsewhere.

Bought this for the thanksgiving turkey and once I figured out the perfect placement it worked like a charm. The turkey was so moist because I knew exactly when to pull the old bird out of the oven. I would definitely recommend (especially when it's on sale)!

Absolutely useless. Ended up throwing them away after a year of trying to get them sync with the app. Have to keep the stupid base nearby the thermometer. Thermometer rarely registers with the app. Worst item ever from Shark.

Already had another brand wanted to try the Ninja ProChef™ Wireless Thermometer and boy I'm glad I did. It is now my go to wireless thermometer. It works great and has saved us from a dry turkey or roast beef a few times.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
