Looks great, doesn't retain heat at all. Made over 40 pizzas in it and at this point, I give up. I can make a better pizza in my generic house oven with a stone or steel. It's going on Craigslist.

Solid oven with a lot of space for cooking that reduces the risk of burning the sides of the crust (I have cooked some pizzas with the side crust a little to charred - it happens). It did take me a while to learn how to light the burners consistently but now it's automatic. I have cooked Neapolitan / NYC / and Chicago thin crust on this oven with great results. Other than Neapolitan - to get the crust leopard spots / top done my best results happen when I heat the oven for 35 minutes to get the stones hot - then reduce the temperature to 600 (NYC) or 550 (Chicago thin crust) for cooking. This results in a nicely done top and bottom (crust). My recommendation would be to to purchase the Cover and a turning peel (essential). Also, there are a lot of dough recipes on YouTube that will help you make the type of pizza you want.
Terrible. I bought it with high expectations. It's very inconsistent and looses a lot of heat. The cheese and crust will burn and the dough underneath will be close to raw. The stone doesn't hold heat. Even tried using steel. Made over 40 pizzas and I can get better results using the generic oven in my kitchen.

Upgraded from Koda 16. The extra space is a game changer. It makes cooking 12-15" pizzas so much easier and it makes cooking 16-20" pizzas possible. Love the independently adjustable burners on the sides. It does take longer to heat up the oven though.

Excellent design and even heating 20" size is terrific
Excellent pizza oven! We use it multiple times a week and the results are amazing. It heats up fast, keeps heat well even for cooking 3+ pizzas in close succession. The size is great for larger or multiple pizzas and an evenly cooked crust.
This thing is amazing so far. First time making neopolitan at home, used sourdough starter for dough. Oven was left on for almost 45 minutes on full blast but wouldn't get above 715F. After baking one pizza, the bottom was a little underdone, so I lowered the heat on both burners. After lowering both dials the oven some how cranked up to 760F and was rising. Idk what's up with that. Lowering it further then got the temp lower eventually. Also the right side reads 30-50 degrees hotter than the left side when both dials were at the same setting. Either way I'm excited to keep using this thing. It's a beast.
As true pizza—or should we say "zza"—lovers, we've tried almost every pizza maker out there, but nothing compares to the taste and design of Ooni! If you're a fan of authentic Neapolitan pizza like us (and maybe even channel your inner Dave Portnoy), this is the pizza maker you need in your life. We own both the small and large Ooni models, and they've been game-changers for our pizza nights. We grab fresh dough from our local pizza shop, and in just 5-7 minutes, we're serving up restaurant-quality pizzas right from our backyard. The results? Crispy, perfectly charred crusts and that authentic wood-fired flavor—all at home! Ooni's quality and performance make it stand out from all the "off-the-shelf" pizza makers we've tried in the past. A big thanks to Ooni for making such amazing products. Keep innovating because you've got lifelong fans here! 🍕🙌
We are Pizza or "zza" lovers. . . . just like Dave Portnoy but we tried several different off the shelf pizza makers and none compare to the design and taste of Ooni. We have both the small and the large. We get the pizza dough from local Pizza shops and the output is a simple 5 - 7 minute Neopolitan pizza. . . AT HOME! THanks Ooni keep ,aking awesome pizza makers!
Why put the pizza on bricks if your just going to scorch it from the top at 800 degrees? The bricks should be doing the cooking not pouring flame out the sides. Probably good for people looking for a fun little project but not a quality design.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
