Excellent grill choice. First use; 3 Pizzas baked to perfection. Can't wait for the summer; that's whe the real tests begins (lol)

Really love the product! Moved to a new home and had replace my old Char-Broil grill. Got the opportunity to use the grill for Christmas dinner and it performed wonderfully. In addition to grilling the food, I was able to use it as warmer to keep the other food hot until it was served.

I have not used the grill yet. Just finished seasoning the griddle and grill. Plan to cook up some food this weekend.

While the idea is good the design was not well thought out. The grill, with everything in place, leaked grease out the backside of the unit onto my deck tiles. Puddles of grease everywhere. Grease spewed out of the backside of the unit onto the handrails for my deck. It was a complete mess. I gave it to someone who could put up with the mess. I couldn't. Plus, the griddle took forever to season, as was still a problem, and the grill situation was a nightmare to clean. Hate every bit of it.

It makes dinner simple! Easy to clean and less dishes. And we love having the grill and griddle combo, lots of flexibility on what you can cook. Definitely a solid purchase.

On my old grill, I used a grill mat to sauté veggies, now with the griddle side I'm able to sauté veggies, fix French toast and so much more all while grill steaks, chicken etc. Love the dual-purpose features. The only thing that I didn't think about when choosing this product is the height of the lid. I have always made beer can chicken in the past and will not be able to do that on this. But that is on me.

I just got my vista kitchen last Thursday. I was instructed by my son-in-law to season the griddle side with oil . My questions are what is the correct way to season it? And secondly what is the best way clean to it? And also what should be done to prevent it from rusting over time ?

Im excited try this grill out. It was fairly simple to put together, about 2hrs. The stickers on the lids peeled off, leaving some glue residue. Wiped it with my shirt , then use stainless steel cleaner... Bam brand new looking. Just wish it came with more info about cooking the pizza, since thats a huge selling feature. Summers here. Happy grilling

I haven't used it yet but I would like to say, the assembly for this thing was horrendous. I spent 7.5 hours putting it together with the assembly instructions being drawings with very little writing. None of the parts were marked and they weren't even packed in order of use. There were a few things that were out of order so it required getting on the floor and looking up under the assembled parts. This product shipped on a pallet in a box big enough that most of this thing could have been assembled. I will never by another Charbroil product that requires assembly.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
