I had an issue with the lighting system almost right away, but after some obtuse back and forth emails with Weber, they provided a replacement unit promptly. Now that part is working fine. I've used the grill a dozen times or so to date. Cooking surface does seem to provide even heat. Three areas of disappointment: 1. The manual igniting method is wanting. It would be very difficult if you were in the midst of cooking and needed to light a burner. 2. The flame tamers tent closely over each burner, with the in-between burner spaces having their own tents. These in-between ones don't have enough heat to vaporize the dripping grease, so a great deal more falls through to the grease capturing system. It would be more effective if the tamers over the burners were wide enough to but up against the next burner tamer. 2. Related to #1. The main grease capturing slope is effective, but as stated above catches a lot of stuff that should have been vaporized above. Also, the actual removable drip pan is ridiculously small. On the plus side, the entire slope slides to the front for easy maintenance. I had another manufacturer's grill for twelve years (with lots of replacement burners and other parts), and would have bought it again, but couldn't find a dealer willing to assemble one from the comic book the other manufacturer called instructions. I was able to purchase the Weber assembled from Lowes. Time will tell if I get the same level of satisfaction.

So far I've only used it three times but I have been happy with the results. Very even heat,no crazy hot spots and a nice size grill area. Planning on the grill getting plenty of use this summer.

The grill heats up quickly, does not have any hot spots and is well built. Only issue is the sides and back walls do not keep the cabinet under the grill enclosed where you can see the wiring and fuel supply line, as well as allowing an entrance for animals. It wouldn't have taken much to have the design completely enclosed.

Love our new grill, have had Weber grills for years. Bought the griddle too. My only request would be that Weber rethinks the location of the little thingy in front of the griddle, the hot air comes right out there and is too hot for your hands and arms while cooking. Otherwise love it!

This is our 2nd Genesis. We had a Genesis 3 that lasted 9 years. We purchased the Genesis 4 this year. We love the efficiency as well as the efficacy of our meals. Weber owners for charcoal and gas grills for life.

I've owned Weber's for a very long time and they were always stainless steel now almost everything is made of plastic. And they charge you a lot more.

This is my 2nd Weber Genesis the 1st one lasted 10 years and we loved it. So now we needed a new one, so we went with weber genesis again but a 4 burner instead of 3. Unfortunately the newer one does not measure up to old one.

The 3rd party assembly person (through Home Depot) had made a couple of errors in the assembly. Johanna at Weber online help guided me through the correct installation and now the grille works great. Thanks to Johanna and her knowledge of the product.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
