Weber GENESIS E-415 Natural Gas Grill - Black - 1500368

Nice grill, but it arrived with cosmetic damage. Customer service ultimately resolved it, but not without hassles.

I bought a Weber Silver Grill back in the early 90's and it served me well up until last October. I had to leave it behind when I moved across country. At my new home I decided to buy a new grill and it had to be a Weber. I purchased this 4 burner Genesis and I like the look of it. I like the grated and flavor bars too. The casters are really nice. It rolls and maneuvers easily. However compared to the Silver the materials used in the Genesis don't seem as robust. The lid is more like sheet metal than the heat holding cast anodized aluminum lid on the Silver. I was disappointed that the new grill didn't have a weight gauge for the propane tank like the old Sillver. I can't speak to the burners, valves and lighter because it was delivered new with a defective regulator and I'm still waiting for Weber to send me a replacement.

Replaces a previous Weber grill that was 18 years old. This is a basic grill without electronic frills, but with enough functionality for most grilling. It has a very good ignition system that can light each burner independently. I added a flat griddle for more variety in grilling. This is an excellent grill for the price.

So far we have been very happy with the quality and cooking power of this grill. It's easy to light with easy access to the tank. We did also purchase the kit that holds the griddle and other components. My only complaint so far is that with the weight of the griddle and design it's difficult to manage or move with no real handle.

When item was delivered pieces were damage I did receive replacement pieces for the price of it. There was no propane tank gauge within a month side counters rusted never left, uncovered.

This is the first Weber grill i have owned at it has lived up to my expectations. It has an even heated cooking grill area. It is also solid and well built when I open the lid on the grill I cannot not help t think how well balanced the lid is and easy to open. Only knock i have so far is the stainless steel is magnetic (not 316) which itself will not be an issue to me as long as it doesn't rust. Looking forward to owning this grill for years to come.

As a Weber customer since the early 80's, we've always enjoyed Webers commitment to outdoor cooking. We started with the charcoal type grilling and have graduated to propane as we use our grill almost everyday. Our last grill was a summit style and used for about 10 years. Very good grill. Our latest purchase is the Genesis S-415. There are a few noticeable differences. The lack of a propane gauge, the smaller diameter grilling grate being the two most notable. The grilling area is much larger then our Summit unit and hoping this unit lasts as long as our last one.

I haven't been able to you the grill yet. First the grill was damaged in the factory and when it was unboxed the hood was damaged. Weber promptly shipped a new hood. Once I assembled the grill the igniter would not click or make a spark. I did manually light the grill so I again connected Weber for assistance and after Weber walked me through troubleshooting they came to the same conclusion I did that the igniter was defective. They placed a warranty order for a new igniter over two weeks ago and I was informed the igniter for this grill is out of stock so I'm still waiting to use my grill. I had intended to use on the 4th of July but all my guest just saw the grill doing nothing and we order BBQ and had it delivered. Still waiting on my part.

Easy assembly. Instructions even tell you what not to do. Parts fit perfectly and result is a sturdy unit. Grill fired up immediately. Heats to 700° in ten minutes. Cooking temperature well distributed. 4 burners and grid set up allows you to cook smaller meals in the middle with two burners. Much better than a more expensive 3 burner grill I had previously.

Hubby received from me as a Father's day Gift. Loved our old Silver Genesis (probably 15-20 years old) but it really needed to be replaced. The E-415 is gorgeous and has plenty of space to cook for our large family (18-22) get togethers. We kept the old grill for messy cooking LOL. Thank you Weber for making quality products that provide us with tasty meals!
