Overall it seems to be a really nice grill. Compared to the older model (Summit Silver 2002) I had it has some pros and cons. It's a little bigger which is both good and bad - more grill area which is nice but it takes up more space on the deck which isn't as nice. The cabinet is definitely nicer and well made. I actually preferred the "fake stone" type side shelves on the old grill compared with the stainless ones on the new grill but....the new ones are nice too. The old grill seemed to get a bit hotter than this one which was definitely nice when it was needed and the top on the old one was a bit taller which could be an issue when cooking something large such as a turkey or ham - but thus far I haven't done that yet so I'm not sure if it's an issue or not. The starter on this one definitely seems better right now... just like the rest of the grill we'll see how it holds up over time. Finally, I must say I liked the v-shaped grates on the old one better than the rod shaped ones on this new grill. Seems like the food sticks to these new ones more. But, overall it seems like a really nice replacement for the old one and Weber really stood behind the old grill with great warranty service.

With regards to food sticking, we have the following recommendations: You can oil the food directly, but we do not recommend applying any kind of oil directly to the grates. Make sure you're giving your food enough time per side. Food will naturally start to release from the grates when close to flipping time. If using a marinade, try to get as much excess liquid off as possible before placing the food on the grill. If using a sauce of any kind, wait until the last 5 minutes or so to apply. We recommend cleaning your cooking grates every time you use your grill. Simply preheat the grill on high for 15 minutes with the lid closed and then brush the grates clean with a Weber Stainless Steel Grill Brush. Hope this is helpful! Great grill! Upgraded from a 2 burner to a 4 burner grill and couldn't be happier. This grill was easy to assemble and lit up like a champ. Really happy with the temperature controls and all the extra cooking space.

Only used a couple times. Assembly was easy, did it myself. Well made and quite heavy. Gets hot quickly and holds heat nicely. Only complaint so far would be the hood bumpers, seem small for this grill.

Pros: Seems well made. Heats up quickly and evenly. Side tables are nice size. Cons: Not happy they control selling price, which is higher than it should be. Side tables are nice size , but make the grill inconveniently too wide. Would be nice to have at least one side table be retractable. Not sure how long the igniter wires will last as they are exposed on one side below the side table and accessible to squirrels, etc.

To begin, the packaging was impressive. The unit was in perfect condition after travelling a couple thousand miles. Assembly was very, easy using a screwdriver and the wrench provided. Every part fit perfectly. Directions recommend two people to assemble and the only part that should be installed with help, would be the lower section of the grill containing the burner section. I purposely seek Made in the USA products and love everything about this grill! It grills perfectly as well:)

Very user friendly & well constructed. This is my 2nd Weber grill & the last one lasted 20 years. We went with the natural gas grill & absolutely love it.

Loving the grill, one issue with the griddle, what to do with it when I want to use the grates ? I wish the below storage had an option to house this griddle when not in use. This thing heads fast and hot. Used it as a smaller one burner on low perfect 225. Works well in the wind, can't say that for any other flat top grills.

By far the best grill I've ever owned. Cooks evenly, doesn't flare up. You can feel the quality as soon as you lift the lid.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
