Weber Master Touch 26-Inch Charcoal Grill w/ Gourmet BBQ System Cooking Grate - Smoke - 1500065

I really like this grill it has a lot more room. However it is taking a bit of getting used to. The ash pan clean out is one of the best things about it makes getting rid of the ashes a lot easier. The gates in the cook grate make easier to add additional charcoal if needed it's a lot easier to set-up for indirect cooking. Had a bit of a problem with the lid damper but weber customer service took care of the problem quickly and easily. So far I'm extremely satisfied with this grill. Wish I'd got this one i stead of the 22" before but by having the 22" I used it to make a pizza oven and rotisserie.

Everything arrived as stated. Have you used this grill several times. Could not be happier with quality and what was promised.

I bought my first Weber kettle grill in 1974 and have had 3 @ 22" kettle grills, the original Performer, smoky mountain 18", Genesis gas grill, 18" portable kettle grill, and I have a 26" kettle which I my favorite.

This kettle is perfect for long smokes ou hat and fast cooks this is my 5th one and each is set up fo a different cook

After putting my grill together, the welds broke on the handle. I hadn't even had time to use the grill. After drilling holes and installing bolts i was able to get the handle on. Of course the bolts make it hard to put the grate on.

I bought this grill because I was tired of having grills develop rust age just a year. This has been a great purchase for its quality and performance.

I really love my new 26" Weber kettle! Such a joy to cook on. Truly a masterful grilling vessel! Thank you Weber

I love this gill ,all the accessories that can be inserted in the grate helps out so much, the cooking space is nice as well,thanks weber 4 another great grill

I am going back and forth with customer support. The lid does fit tightly and even with the vent closed and the lid on, my coals continue to burn until they are completely burned out. This seems like a problem to me - would anyone else agree. The coals should go out when the lid is put on and the vents closed.

Great Size! I have had the last Weber 22" charcoal kettle grill for 22 years. I had the same kind for 16 years before that. I decided that a bigger size was needed, though I LOVED my 22" charcoal grill. It just became rickety after SO much use (in 22 years)! I like the swing lid on this, but the hook on the inside lid of the 22" was just as effective. There was nothing wrong with that design. What I don't like is the Weber Crafted Stainless Steel Cooking Grate (#2400312) because it is HEAVY (and falls apart when lifting out to clean) and I didn't need all the fancy options, so I opted to buy the regular cooking grate (#63039). It is a lot lighter in weight, which I need because of my arthritis. I do direct cooking not indirect cooking, and this grill grate works better for me. I would like Weber to offer this option when purchasing the 26" grill instead of consumer having to buy the other grill grate. Secondly, I am having a harder time with the cleaning system. It is harder to get in and out and the swing handle doesn't move smoothly, like it is scraping (too hard) on the inside to clean the ash out. Thirdly, I wish Weber would make options for colors on the 26" as they do for the 22". I would have purchased either a white color or red color, but there aren't those choices. I almost purchased another 22" kettle BECAUSE of the color choices. This is a great size and accommodates with cooking space for more people, so it IS what I needed to upgrade. I am a tried-and-true Weber customer/lover and will continue to be because of your great products! Thank you!
