CAUTION EVERYONE! I bought my Timberline xl from our local county fair. The salesman assured me that it was being sold as new but now that I'm having issues, they tell me I bought a USED unit and WILL NOT honor the warranty.

I would give it a 0 if I could. I have bought 3 of these in the past three months, two for separate properties and one as a retirement gift. 2 out of the 3 has nothing but problems. Called customer service now twice, spent 2.5 hours with them today and they couldn't figure it out as they said nothing was wrong with my grill, but hasn't been able to connect since the day I bought it. Supervisor was supposed to call back within 5 minutes, never called back. Complete waste of money and time as one of them works just like it should and we love it, but they are not wanting to stand by their products so all 3 will be going back.

This is my 6th grill (3rd pellet grill) but first Traeger and well worth the purchase. The grill only takes about 20 minutes to get to a stable temperature, unlike my previous grill which needed an hour to "settle" down to a steady temp. It is well insulated and was not affected by wind. I love that there is no pellet dust or ash on my food now, its pretty much contained in the lower part of the grill where it should be. The controls are very easy to use and I can adjust the temperature from my phone....WHAT?! I also like the built-in thermometer connectors (I don't use nor trust the wireless MEATER due to a previous bad experience with that product). The grill easy to disassemble for cleaning. I kinda wish I purchased this a few years ago but on the flip side, I can appreciate how good I have it now. :)

My unit came damaged even though the box was perfect. Traeger sent me out the new part. After 2 uses, the unit stopped working. Spent hours with the support line for them to tell me it was a bad wire harness. Doubt it's a wire harness when this thing has 4 mother boards on it.

We bought the timberline XL about a month ago and have been very happy with the results we are getting. It is especially nice when you just don't have time to sit and take care of the stick burner smoker that we also use. We also like the availability of information available from the other users.

Wanted a Traeger for a long time, and finally made the purchase. Wanted the Ironwood, but ceramic coated grills is a complete show stopper for me. So I bit the bullet, spent the extra money and went for the Timberline. So far no regrets. Ribs, brisket, wings, chops, and burgers so far have all been a smash hit with everyone!!! I'll likely never use the side hot plate and it cost a little more than I wanted to spend, simply because I will only buy bbqs, and grills with stainless grills or I wont buy it at all, but in the end, the product it produces is really astounding and I am flat out very impressed!!! This pellet grill is really great and I would buy another one day when this one wears out.

Bought this and extremely disappointed with the temperature regulation. My original timberline varies about 2 degrees. This one varies about 30 to 40 degrees. I own 5 Traegers and this is very disappointing

A friend of mine had the Ironwood and had smoked me some chicken, ribs and steaks, they were amazing. I wanted one for my home, I went to get one right before Father's Day, yeah I bought myself a present. They were all sold out! I asked the guy when he would get more, he said that they are on order. He called me 2 days later and said I had a Timberline come in do you want it.I did not think I wanted to spend the extra money, but it was so worth it. I am smoking everything I can get my hands on. Love it, the construction, the ease of use, the app via WiFi, and the most surprising thing the cover. OMG the cover is Amazing. I have had so many grill covers that are cheap, hard to put on, don't stay on, and don't last. I just got it, but I am sure it will out last the grill cover that came with my equally expensive grill.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
