I converted from another brand because I started being limited to smoking space. I used my BFG2500 last weekend to smoke 15 center cut Briskets and the BFG worked flawlessly. The temp held right on the setting during the whole 15 hour cook.

While this thing is huge and can hold a lot, it cannot hold what it says unless they are using some small butts! We can fit half of what it claims. On the initial burn off the heat deflector cracked and it has a very slow grease leak in one side. We have to put something under it with every cook. I honestly regret spending the money on this smoker and would have preferred sticking with the brand of my smaller smoker. Yes for what I paid I expected to get something in perfect working condition that holds what it says.

This grill is a beast. I cooked a brisket, then bumped up the temperature to cook 12 ears of corn in husk and as many big potatoes. Still had room when wife wanted me to add in a foil pack of mushrooms and one of peppers and onions. There was still enough room I could have cooked a whole chicken or two, this is with the upper two racks not in. As for those that say it doesn't smoke. Well, if I can I'll add abcouple of picks but all I can say is i sure do wish I would have purchased this wonderful machine a year ago when I bought my cuisinart oakmont pellet grill that rusted out in just One year. I did some checking by looking back at the temps of the grill, it when set stayed within 2 degrees of set point. Lol my wifes fancey oven isn't neqrbthat good.

HI Denny. The recteq RT-2500 is double walled. Also, the PID controller helps to conserve pellet use through steady temperature monitoring, resulting in up to 53 hours use time with a full pellet hopper.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
