This is a great oven! It worked perfectly he first time. Made an awesome neopolitan pie. So simple to use.
We couldn't resist jumping on buying a second Volt due to the sale price. We typically make 10-12 pizzas when hosting pizza night 1-2 times a week. Being able to double my workload has been great so far. 10 pies in about 30 minutes makes for fast work! With as often as we are slinging pizza, the time savings will add up quickly. We've only made 10 pies on the new oven, but about 700 on the other. Overall, the Volt is a great oven. This latest one doesn't seem to get as hot as our other Volt, about 15° F less. Our deck of our first Volt hits about 815° when on the 800° setting, which is what we always preheat on to avoid the first pie burning. The new oven, on the other hand, is a little more accurate on temp, or slightly under. Not sure if it's the original stone vs the replacement stone, but the subtle difference in temp means I have to really pay attention to which oven is which to get comparable results. This is obviously only an "issue" we notice because we're cooking on both simultaneously. Regardless, the oven is great. It's super quiet, heats up quickly, and generally cooks pretty evenly. There are definitely some hot spots, so turning is necessary, but that's manageable with experience. If there's one complaint, it's the sheer size. Storing the oven is a challenge for those of us with smaller living spaces. Now that we have two, we've been trying to think of clever solutions for storing and moving.
Used my new Ooni Volt for the first time last night. The Volt is easy to set up and use. The results were excellent. I'm pleased with my purchase.
Setup was very easy. First time using it was easy as well second time even better! Great purchase. I highly recommend.
Beyond frustrated with this oven is an understatement. Every pizza I cook with many different settings and many different temperatures and several different dough recipes. The bottoms are getting burnt. And I'm talking to dozens of people on several food groups out here and everyone is saying the same thing- that you need to buy a different stone made from a different company. Very very frustrating. And like I said — I'm not the only one — lots and lots of people are having this issue. Furthermore it smokes a lot , it smokes almost immediately each time you launch a pizza. I'm considering sending it back. Ôøº
i've had ooni ovens for well over 3 years now. the ooni volt is a shame. my oven stone only reaches 750¬∞F after an hour of preheating and once I launch a pizza in, the top does not cook—but the bottom chars quickly. also very unfortunate that I bought this at full price and it goes on sale for practically 40% off the next week.
What a game changer this oven is,I own the koda 16 and gozney arc xl and this oven matches if not exceeds both . heats up to 450c in 20 minutes and bakes consistently good pizza and so easy to use. I recommend anyone thinking of getting this oven to do so. you won't regret it.
I've been having a blast making delicious Neapolitan style pizzas. It's always been my favorite style but can't replicate. I'm able to make delicious ones at home. Ngl, kind of obsessed :)
This is a picture of my first try pizza. It was sticky and stuck to the pizza pell and I had to cook it on a pizza pan and it turned out strange for some reason fluffed all up and stuff, but the oven worked right. It's just I messed up making the dough.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
