I was a bit weary when buying this oven, one it was pricey and second it was a considerable amount of investment required. However, with the sales on, I decided to jump at the chance and bought one. I'm glad I did. This is a fantastic Oven, and has become my buddy in the kitchen. I already have a multi-fuel oven for outdoors, but wanted one for indoors. The oven certainly does what it states. I've done a couple of homemade pizzas now and it's literally done in 90 seconds. My daughter absolutely adores it. She does her papadums and garlic bread on this with ease. I certainly recommend everyone buying this. Yes, I admit, it's pricey, but the performance and quality makes up for it.
Must have for pizza lovers. I've had the Volt for over a year, when I first tried the volt I had smoke everywhere. To be honest, it took a few times for me to get the hang of using the volt to get the perfect pizza. I've now come to love the volt! The whole family loves the variety and quality of home made pizza and they actually prefer it to take out. My biggest advice is be patient - take your time - and you too will master the Volt.
This oven is just excellent. I have the Karu 12 and don't see me using it again now. I made 16 pizzas yesterday for people coming round and it was so easy. I couldn't do that with my Karu 12. Being able to choose to go out or indoors as well is priceless! Kids also get a midweek pizza now as it is so convenient.
The temps are all over the place. Set at 650 and beeps ready at 535. Set at 550 and beeps at 645 etc... and fluctuates greatly when cooking. I bought this because it was an electric oven where you could set the temperature you wanted. Supposed to be simple, but it's not. Constantly checking this thing. My food turns out good, but I have to really work at it and even put in the air fryer to finish cooking it at times. Doesn't get as hot as it should and then too hot for calzones; you never know. I had another brand, half the price, and it cooked perfectly! Then after 3 weeks it would not come up to temperature. I thought this would be the best oven I could possibly have.
This is my 4th Ooni oven, and It works as stated. First pizza was about the same as the others. I like the fact you can lower the oven for more delicate items. It is mostly for he winter so I don't have to make the trek down the stairs to the oven.
This is my 3rd Ooni. I had one of the original pellet ovens from 2012. It was messy and difficult to use. I learned to make a decent pizza but never really mastered it. When the propane fired Koda 12 came out I upgraded and loved the ease of use compared to the original pellet fired oven. My Koda was great but I found it difficult to see my pizza cooking inside the dark oven and had to resort to using a flashlight. Messing with the propane and dealing with trying to make pizzas in the winter in Minnesota was also a hassle. Despite all that I absolutely loved my Koda and was very leery of changing to the electric Volt. The idea of being able to make a pizza indoors year round and ditching the propane really interested me. I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy the Volt. It heats up nicely in 20 minutes on my kitchen countertop and makes perfect pizzas. The light works great and because it heats from underneath and above evenly it's not necessary to constantly rotate. A turn or two is all that's needed. By far the Volt is the easiest of the 3 Ooni's I've owned and makes the most evenly cooked pizzas. I highly recommend the Volt.
I love this pizza oven. I had originally bought the Ooni Koda but was restricted by weather conditions and had to get hubby to hook up the propane tank. The Volt allows me to cook even when it's raining or oppressively hot outside. The pizza comes out great and I love how quickly it is ready. Allows each of us to make our own so everyone is happy. Worth every penny.
Very nice. Does exactly what I expected it to.
Slightly bigger than I expected but worked great! I was worried about it getting hit on the exterior but that was not the case at all. Being able to use this oven indoors has really simplified my pizza making process. The oven heats up quickly and having the ability to control the top and bottom heating elements is a plus. Cleanup was very easy too - once it cools I could simply pull out the stone and wipe it off with a dry towel, then wipe out the inside. 10/10 - would recommend!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
