Good oven, will take a while to learn how to make a good pizza
Incredible oven. Versatile, easy to use, and has elevated my pizza skills so much. Highlyrecommend.
Having a great time with different doughs and temps. A infrared thermometer is a must for the stone, as it takes a bit longer than the oven air temp to get the stone up to that level. Indoors, be carful of too much flour or corn meal on your peel that will burn fast and create a lot of smoke, because of this, I make my indoor pizzas on a high quality parchment paper - cut to the size of the pizza - in the oven cleanly of the peel for less than a minute and removed when you are ready to turn the pizza. I am amazed that the outside temp of the oven is around 130 degrees when the inside is 800 degrees.
Amazing for home based pizza makers. Making 1-2 pizzas every 20 minutes. Phenomenal product in that sense. If i'm making pizzas back to back to back , it loses too much heat on the bottom. Top heat is great. The boost tool should be accessible at all times, not just when the temperature is set. That kind of defeats the purpose of boost.
I bought it as a present and my son loves it you do need to buy a paddle as it's very hot of course
We're still learning and trying to get the temperature just right, but I'm confident we'll master the technique. I use my vacuum to remove the cornmeal and end up removing the stone to clean. We made pizzas with our grandkids and it was a hit.
This is my third pizza oven and my second electric one. My first was an Ooni wood pellet one that I used until it died. Then I wanted a change and chose an outdoor electric oven. This was/is great, freedom from constantly running in and outside trying to maintain 500°C whilst rolling out fresh pizzas with toppings. Everything became so much easier and more relaxed with an electric oven. BUT it didn't get hot enough for my liking. Enter the Ooni 12v and an end to rushing around like a demented flour covered demon. Now the Ooni goes upto 450°C which I thought would be just enough. But experience has sent me in a different direction. After a few hit and miss attempts, the occasional fire and something just not right I've now settled on 400°C and frequent turning. Consistency and a relaxing atmosphere pervades my kitchen. Happy days. If I could change anything about the oven it would be a fan to even out the temperature gradient. I understand why there isn't one but I'd like the option. Secondly a greater opening height would encourage me to explore a wider range of recipes. A great bit of kit that is a joy to use, looks great and promises a whole new world of flavour.
Very easy to use, heat's really quick and controls easily to use, my other pizza oven runs on wood pellets and can't be used when windy or raining the electric oven can be used inside and outside. Highly recommend

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
