It started out a little rough but Short talk with the support team and one replacement control board later and I could not be happier. The first thing I made was bacon candy. Great with a beer. Next where some burgers then a steak and to noght a meat loaf. All of these were tender and juicy This little pellet grill is just perfect for us as my wife and I full time RV. This little grill fits perfectly on our storage tray and makes terrific food.

Works just like the full-size Pit Boss in my backyard. This portable Pit Boss turns heads when I'm camping. It's perfect. The ONLY criticism I have is that to access the hopper you have to open the grill's lid. This is a problem if I'm smoking something and don't want to open the lid to maintain temp. That said... How often will I smoke something when I'm camping or at a picnic? Probably never.

I took this tailgate smoker camping and ran it off a 2000 watt generator and it worked fantastic. Cleaner than using the charcoal pit they have set up at the campsite.

Well, at this point, it gets a 5. I have done the initial "burn off" and only used it once after that, just for the heck of it and it works as well as my Austin XL. I bought it to go in my RV so I can use it when we are on the road. We are leaving for 3 weeks to Wyoming and Montana. I expect to use it every day while we are gone. If it's anything like the PB Austin XL that I've had for 2 years, I'm sure I'll love it. PB can NOT be beat for the money. Or twice the money.

We got this grill for our 5th wheel camper. We love pit boss grills. I would never have any other grill. We also have a pit boss 700S we use all the time at home.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
