Minka-Aire warrants to the original owner that this fan will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, excluding the motor. Minka-Aire warrants to the original owner that the motor in this fan shall be free from defects in This is a limited warranty. Minka-Aire only obligation under this limited warranty is to replace or repair, or refund the purchase price, in Minka-Aire sole discretion without charge to the original owner, of the fan once Minka-Aire confirms that the fan has a defect covered by this limited warranty. Labor not included.

This fan was about as easy to install as any ceiling fan I've ever installed. And I've installed dozens in my lifetime. Kudos to the designers at MinkaAire. They provided some innovative shortcuts in the design that simplified things. The best feature was the quick install of the fan blades. They just snapped in place instead of having to use individual screws overhead. The only issue I had was installing the batteries in the remote. The instructions didn't show whether to put the + up or down. I chose incorrectly at first which scared me when the fan didn't respond. Maybe they could improve that to take a way the guessing. The fan itself is a simple design but it looks fine in our master bathroom. It works fine and works like a charm.

The fan looks just as pictured. The air flow is good for a 16 x 16 covered deck. The remote for the fan works well. The light doesn't dim very low and the remote is a bit touchy to get the light brightness where you want it.

I purchased 2 of these fans AND the wall coordinating wall controller that goes where a wall switch would normally go (because I wanted to be able to turn the fan light on when I entered the room). My older Minka fan came with that wall switch and it worked consistently. These newer ones... not so much. I've had for almost 2 years now. I'm disappointed in the quality of the controls. You can turn the light on from wall switch on the one but then it won't turn off. On the other, I had to order a replacement wall unit and hesitate to install because of the experience with the first. That unit's remote control will turn the light on but again doesn't turn off consistently. Frustrating and misses the mark completely for an expensive, higher end fan. Unlikely to purchase Minka Aire product again. Also hate the brushed nickel accent on the matte black fan, likely a cost reduction "design" feature. SB all matte black.... on the plus side the fan is very quiet and low speed moves just enough air for sleeping, nice style except for the brushed nickel accent. If I knew then what I know now I'd have gone a different route, saved some $ and time/frustration.

Considering the cost of this fan, I have been disappointed by how it has performed thus far. You have to set it on a high speed (4 or higher) to get adequate airflow but at that speed the slightest breeze makes it wobble and make noise. We had two fans installed and they both have these issues.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
