I've had my 1050 for a couple of years. It has never let me down. Hosting my entire neighborhood is easy with the size and versatility of this smoker/grill. Ease of use, efficiency of fuel usage and(quite frankly)the look of this unit are just a few of the upsides. So much better than any other smoker of similar size.

I like the lump charcoal it burns hot and lights up quickly. It does tend to spark quite a bit so careful if you're too close to your chimney. Some pieces were too big so I had trouble lighting them, I had to try and break them up which was kinda a hassle. Some of the starters also wouldn't light so I'm not sure if I got a bad batch but the ones that did work were great

The gill cover does not even last a year. It quickly becomes brittle and cracks and splits at the slightest touch. You already sent a replacement and it also was worn out in short order. For the price it should perform much better and protect the grill from the elements. This product is a disgrace to the brand.

I bought this as a gift for myself on Father's Day 2021 and have used it extensively since then. It is well built and can stand up to our harsh Minnesota weather. I have smoked on this smoker even in the harshest of times and have never had a problem maintaining the proper temps throughout. This was probably the best investment in a smoker/grill that I could have choosen.

Gets a much better bark than the electric smokers with the same ease of use. Had a bad temperature probe from the beginning but Masterbuilt shipped a new part no questions asked.

The grill has smoked many of chickens, pork butts, briskets and has grilled many steaks over the past few years. I did have to replace the lid/cover closed switch and the ash door closed switch after about a year and half/two years for the grill to work properly and heat past 500 degrees. Once I replaced the switches, it has been working good. The only negative about the grill is that the WiFi is sketchy about connecting and also the Masterbuilt App doesn't allow me to sign in as it says I have an invalid e-mail when I type one in (which it is not, it's the same e-mail that I get my updates from Masterbuilt). So overall the grill is good, but the App is horrible.

Works ok, there are some issues with metal expansion which bins the rottisserie. There are some YouTube videos out there to show how to fix.

I purchased this fuel when I purchased my grill. This is the only fuel that I would recommend or use with my Masterbuilt Gravity Series Grill. This is great stuff.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
