Masterbuilt Pizza Oven Insert for Gravity Series 800 & 1050 Models - MB20181722

I've had the 1050 for approximately three years and it continues to perform at a high level. I love how easy it is to light and bring up to temperature. Easily transitions from grinding to smoking. Always happy with the flavorful results.

I have purchased and recommended to friends and family several Masterbuilt products over the last 10 plus years and have been very happy with the products and the outstanding customer support. I recently purchased the Gravity Series 1050, Griddle Insert and Rotisserie. The step-by-step assembly and operational instructions are quite good. It's a breeze to assemble and operate. The 1050 and Griddle insert are great products. I love that you can use standard Charcoal Briquettes or Lump Charcoal. Both will work equally well. The digital controls are super! Set the desired temperature and wait only a short time for it to reach and hold the target temp. I can recommend the 1050 and griddle insert wholeheartedly. It lives up to the product descriptions and promotional literature. The Rotisserie, on the other hand, is not worth the time or trouble. I never could get it to operate properly. Out of the box, with nothing mounted the rotisserie skewer would not make a complete rotation. The customer support team worked with me to resolve the problem. They sent replacement parts including a new motor and rod. After installing the new motor and rod it appeared to work and I tried cooking a relatively small pork roast – 4.25lbs – skewered lengthwise through the center. It stopped working half way through the cook. It seems like this rotisserie option was an afterthought. A grill of this size and price should not offer a rotisserie option that is overly sensitive to balance and limited to 10lbs in weight. Don't buy it, you won't need it. The 1050 provides multi levels for cooking and you can achieve some wonderful results without a rotisserie. The customer service team is outstanding! They did a great job and they were willing to go the extra mile to resolve the problem. They salvaged the bad experience with the rotisserie and boosted my overall satisfaction with the Masterbuilt products.

i bought this grill 2 years ago and it has a lot of versatility

Just got the grill. After burning I. The grill my first attempt was a pastrami out of a corned beef brisket it came out great. Very pleased with the grill. Had a switch was not working with I. A week Masterbuilt sent me a new part. Great customer service A+

Looking into why i shouldn't buy one and can't find anything but some guys that had a grease fire cause they dirty lol

I have used the Masterbuilt Lump Charcoal numerous times. It burns clean and adds great flavor.

My cover has held up well in the two years I have had it. It is out in the direct weather in western NC. Minimal fading. I did replace it this year but only because the dogs tore it up.

I have had my 1050 since they came out and it is a work horse that puts out great food.

My Masterbuilt produces some great smoked and grilled meat. I have had charcoal grills, pellet smokers/grills, and propane grills and this thing outshines them all.
