I've used these to light my 560 and Kamado Joe grills. They light quickly and burn fast with a strong flame. Will buy again
I bought this for my husband. Best BBQ on the market. We bought ours after eating food at our son-in-laws. I would recommend this smoker/grill to everyone. Makes the best food ever. So far 2 friends have purchased this grill after eating food from ours.

Bought this used a few weeks ago. I have been eyeballing the gf ever since it came out. I will say it smokes great and will also sear great. What it definitely has is some major design flaws. first and most important is if you don't do any of the mods to the manifold like adding a drip pan to the top of it or some aluminum foil of the manifold when you crank it up past about 450 if there is any grease build up at all it will catch fire fast and due to having so much air getting in from the back and the lid and grease pan it will burn like an inferno. Also the controller doesn't like to connect to the wifi or Bluetooth very well. you have to constantly restart the app and be standing right in front of it for it to connect. also I noticed while it stays with about 5 degrees of where you set it the temperature was running about 40 degrees hotter than what the thermometer said. I always use my own to verify the actual temp. When you clean it you have to clean it extremely well and also check that there isn't any grease build up in the manifold as I didn't realize could happen. If you don't mind doing the necessary upgrades to address these issues it really is a great little smoker and grill.

Just completed assembling the masterbuilt 800. You should add another 30 minutes (or more) assembly time just to remove all the marketing material. I am still trying to scrape off glue from the inside of the lid.. after 2 pre-seasonings and I still can't get it off. Yum.. the taste of glue in your meat! Such a great non toxic seasoning I'm sure. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever witnessed.. scraping glue off a grill's marketing materials telling me how great it is. Masterbuilt.. how about let's not put a banner on the INSIDE of a grill that I ALREADY BOUGHT!!

Best grill I've ever owned. It's like a side box smoker that feeds itself and controls the damper. I owned a pellet smoker and the flavor does not compare to the Gravity Series.

I received 2 bags and used one in my Gravity 1050 and so far 1 firebox full from the second bag in my Kamado Joe grill. A full bag fits perfectly to fill up the gravity series hopper. I did low and slow pulled pork in the gravity and roasted a chicken at 400° on the Kamado. The lump lights fast and burns great. The lump sizes are consistent. Not too big and not too small. They are perfect for the gravity series grills.

I got the 560 after my vertical pro pellet smoker malfunctioned and literally went up in smoke (melted my high temp mechanics gloves) and was only supposed to be set to 225. I was skeptical to say the least about the gravity feed, but gave it a shot and have never regretted it once. I have gotten more use from it then any of my pellet smokers, with a nicely sized cooking cabinet I did a 24lb turkey this last Thanksgiving and perfectly seared steaks when my in-laws were in town. I currently have a pork shoulder on at 3am and 3 days ago with a aftermarket rib rack I was able to smoke 8 racks of ribs to perfection in just over 6 hours. One of the great things is I've never had issue with temp control unless something was really wrong. Unfortunately there have been a couple of those issues but they were all in the same Session, one being the lid door switch went bad 5 hours in to smoking and I had to wire them together or it just read my door was open. The other being my fault, tossing wood chips into the ash bin a few got past the bin and slid down and got caught in the fan. This was really bad as I watched the temp drop and couldn't figure out what had happened. Other then that love this machine!!! Best thing has been, my house burned down and was a total loss 3 weeks ago. Well almost total loss as I was doing my walk through I got to the backyard and to my disbelief there my smoker stood ready to head to my in-laws until we can find something more permanent. The last picture is a example of what it survived. The tools were all gone but it was not!

Bought this for the 800 gravity series, but they don't have a specific rod the size of the 800. So I cut the larger 1050, polished the end, my wife said I did a better job than the factory, and it worked perfect for the 800 gravity series. All the holes lined up appropriately for the 800 just like they do for the 560 and the 1050 gravity series. I was able to smoke a 5 1/2 pound chicken using the rotisserie which worked perfectly and at the same time I was able to keep the 2 lower smoke racks on and the top rack. The right bracket took some manipulation and additional adjustments in order for the rack bracket to fit properly and for the lower rack to slide on and keep all the attachments for the rotisserie to remain in the grill. The larger rod for the 1050 gets cut to 24 1/2 inches. And you're also left with the rod for the 560 which is 22 1/4 inches. This size also permits the two positions that are available with the rotisserie bracket on the right side.

I got these fire starters a month ago to try and immediately decided that these are the only fire starters I'll use from now on. I've used other fire starter squares that are similar to these, but these just seem to be better. They light almost instantly with a lighter and are very dense and solid (much denser than others that I've tried). They are a bit smaller than other brands, but because they are denser, they seem to burn better and the fan on my smoker doesn't blow out the flame like with others. These fit perfectly into the slot on on the Masterbuilt Gravity Series smokers and work perfectly with them. Excellent fire starters!

I got this charcoal a month ago to try out and I am very impressed. The lump charcoal was very consistent in being a medium size. The chunks were not too big nor too small, but just the right size to get a good even burn. I ran these in my Masterbuilt Gravity Series smoker and they burned very evenly, had a clean smoke with a pleasant smell, and burned almost completely to ash. I've used many different brands of charcoal and this stuff ranks right up there with the best of them.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
