I love charcoal grilling for the taste but the heat can be hard to dial in and it's requires a lot of maintenance especially for longer grill times. This grill combines the taste of charcoal with the convenience of a digital oven. You can literally grill anything on here and get it done right the first time every time. There's nothing quite like a steak in a cast iron skillet...until you've had one on this grill.

I'm really happy with this, it works amazing and all of the food comes out really flavorful. The only thing I can critique is the build quality could be better but Its good for the price.

It's very easy to operate and cooks the food really well. My only issue with the grill is that I cannot cut off air to the main chamber when there is a flare-up. The flare ups are over 700 degrees.

I have owned this smoker for a year, and the electronic board/interface buttons do not always work. The knob only will turn the temperature up, and I get error messages mid cook. I think I need to contact MasterBuilt to try and get a new CPU board.

Brings the convenience of pellet grills to the great smoke taste of charcoal and wood. And when I want to grill up burgers or sear a steak, it takes only a few minutes more than a propane grill. Really is the best of all worlds.

I finally broke down and picked up a 1050 a couple of weeks ago and there's no turning back now! This is a great smoker grill! It was easy to assemble, burn in went smooth and the app works great! We have smoked a ham, huge filets of salmon, 7 racks of ribs and 2 pork butts so far and the results have been awesome. It has proven quite capable of cooking a lot of food at once as I routinely feed 13 people any given day. If you are on the fence between a Gravity Series model and a pellet smoker you should find that with wood chunks added as prescribed to the hopper and the ash pan your food will take on a great smoky flavor and have a nice smoke ring if you want it to! Highly reccomend!

Bought the Masterbuilt 500 Series when Covid19 started last year. The best investment I've ever made. Use it several times a week. Perfect temperature control...consistent burn rate. The remote application is easy to use and allows me to monitor and control the internal temperature of anything I smoke or cook. Super easy gravity lump coal feed. Thanks for making grilling fun again!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
