I got this pit and it works good, but when cooking sausage or pork steaks the grease tends to drip and the charcoal burs go inside sometimes and it catches fire

As far as cooking it great product, some of the features like connecting to the WiFi was a task. Contacted warranty support and they had no clue the 800# they gave was already turn off. They didnt offer to replace the control unit instead to return the whole unit back to HomeDepot which mean i had to load the whole unit back into my freind's truck. HomeDepot was great just gave me another ine. MasterBuild support is a disappointment to say the lease.

I like the grill but the firebox has burned up in it. I bought the grill 3 months ago. The firebox has something white coming out of the box. I just think they could use better materials for the firebox.

This pit is AMAZING! It's easy on charcoal and you can get a go long smoke off of one hopper full. I've done pulled pork, brisket, chicken, and get this the thanksgiving turkey!!! It works great as a normal ole bbq also and I'll put this in here in hopes that it will help someone else buy, when you are done grilling or smoking and you still have coals just slide the dampers back in and it puts out your coals to use the next time

Good product. Does what it's supposed to. Smokes, grills and BBQ's. Requires a little more maintenance than other grills but overall a really good grill/smoker. A+

I absolutely love when a company listens to customers and improve their products! I heard about a few issues and concerns from early buyers of the Gravity Series 560 - firebox concerns, screws falling into lid, unburned charcoal falling through the firebox grates. I bought mine January 2021 and all of those issues were addressed! Firebox is now stainless steel. Cups in the lid prevent screws from falling in. Grates now have 2 staggered layers allowing airflow but preventing larger chunks from falling through - kudos to Masterbuilt! Over the last couple of months I've cooked baby back ribs, burgers, brats, hot dogs and hot links. Ribs literally fell apart and were amazing! But with anything there's always room for improvement: the lid switch doesn't cut off the fan if it's 500 degrees or less - it resumes temperature so fast, why not just cut it off? I actually rigged up a switch so I can manually cut off my fan to address that. Another thing: if you have lump charcoal in the hamper and decide to switch to charcoal, there's no easy way to dump and reload. Some have complained about not having an electric start - this doesn't bother me that much, but a wind barrier or over the exhaust vent or adjustable chimney would've been nice. And wish the hot air canal can be shaped or adjusted to not have a significant hot spot in the back left of the grill. Given these items, I really wanted to give it 4 1/2 stars, but that's not an option - to me, it's closer to a 5 star than a 4 star grill. It's super easy to use, the results are awesome, the app is not perfect but is fairly easy to use. And at the price, I would do it all over again!

In the last 3 years I've owned a Hasty Bake (still have) a Traeger (sold within a month, a Kamado Joe (sold within a month) and my forever Weber Summit gas grill. FACTOID: YOU CANNOT GET THE FLAVOR OF REAL BBQ WITHOUT COOKING WITH WOOD/CHARCOAL! I could write lengthly reviews on why I quickly sold the grills I've recently owned but I'll just tell you about my new experiences with the 800 Gravity series MASTERBUILT. So far it's lived up to all expectations. Tempertures are right on, amount of smoke flavor is right on, and ease of use is right on. My first impression is that I may not be able to do an overnight cook without adding charcoal but that's yet to be determined. At this juncture I'm confident I finally have the smoker ive been searching for - no "for sale" signs are going to be need for my MASTERBUILT 800.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
