Easy starting when using starting blocks. Very versatile for smoking and cooking hots and hamburgers. Great for steaks and ribs!!!!! I use Kingsford Hickory Bold briquettes and the flavor is just amazing. 8lb bag fits perfectly into hopper and can use before refilling about 15 times. Great price for such an awesome grill!!!!!!!

I bought my Masterbuilt Gravity 1050 a few months ago after considering a number of different brands and models. I am very pleased with my choice. The 1050 has tons of space, enabling me to cook for just me and my wife, or a large group. The gravity fed charcoal feature is way better than having to rely on a mechanism, and provides the flexibility to tweak how much smoke I want on the fly. I really like that grill can reach the desired temp within 10-15 minutes, and the food always ends up tasting great. Another plus is that I can use probes, and monitor my food with the MB app. I never have to wonder when my food is cooked! If I were to suggest an improvement, I would make the steel used a bit thicker gauge, use stainless steel for the grill grates, and burner cover to make them easier to clean and protect against rust. All things considered, this is an amazing grill for the price.

All of the flavor of charcoal grilling and smoking without the hassle. Everything I've done on this so far has come out great. Only slight issue is getting it paired to my phone but that's not a deal breaker because I use my ink bird anyway. Latches and switches could be a little beefier but not bad for the price point.

Bought this grill last summer. Initial issue with faulty power supply. Customer service online not top rate but eventually resolved my problem.

I bought this 9 months ago and was so pleased. I had an electric smoker and a charcoal grill that both were coming to the end of their lives. I was a little out of touch with current options since I had my previous equipment for over 15 years, so I was researching all my options. I felt like the market was all pushing to pellet machines, which I wasn't really happy about but I was getting ready to make my purchase. Went in to the store to finalize the decision and out of nowhere. I found the Gravity Series 1050. I was thrilled at what it was offering. Cooking with Charcoal instead of pellets, heat temps way above any pellet grill, ability to throw natural wood chunks in for additional flavor, tons of cooking space AND the simplicity of the electronic temperature control. The ability to maintain a low and slow smoking temperature using charcoal and not having to monitor it was exactly what I had wished for and prior to finding the Gravity 1050, I didn't think it existed. My experience with Masterbuilt has been great and the performance of the grill is better than anything I have see. Or used before. This unit is HIGHLY recommended!

After about a month the temperature is 100° off! No one seems to know how to fix it the company sent me a new thermostat probe but that didn't help.

Got this amazing grill 2 weeks ago and it looks amazing. Had to have something warranted out of the box and masterbuilt rushed me the part. Would buy another one.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
