I have had this cooker for over a year now and I can say this baby can cook. very even smoke and heat distribution, however the controller needs work, I have to constantly monitor and adjust the temp. I use an external thermometer that is calibrated and certified and the onboard temp reading is any where from 50 to 100 degrees off but with a little work this unit has bade brisket and ribs to die for

Bought this a month ago. I love everything about it from easy startup to steady cook temps. A friend has a traeger timberline and flavor is not even close to masterbuilt gravity.only suggestion would be some sort of wind guard on the vent in back as the middle rack runs a lot cooler.also the temp can go to over 700 degrees which is great for searing and for burning off stubborn meat particles.proud enough to paint it with my favorite teams logo.

I was in the market for a smoker for quite some time, for a while i was between the trager and the green egg. After tons of research about charcoal vs pellet smoker i decided i wanted to go with charcoal. I was about to purchase the green egg when I stumbled upon the MB 550! So glad i did! Back to researching this masterbuilt! After many reviews and facebook pages i heard they were coming out with the 1050! I purchased it but had to wait since it was on back order. Well worth the wait! The mb 1050 is a beast in itself and produces the most amazing food! What makes it even better is that you dont have to sit around and babysit it! It does it all for you! Makes smoking SO EASY!! I love it!

Smoked 8 lbs of Pork Shoulder. Being able to set the temperature and walk away was outstanding. To track time/temp via Bluetooth? Priceless. Only problem, it came out so good, the wife has an expectation of this weekly!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
