I bought the Masterbuilt Gravity Series 560 Digital Charcoal Grill + Smoker a few months ago and it has changed my life for the better! Gone are the days of my traditional gas grill where I would occasionally cook burgers or dogs. Now are the days of Pork Butt, Ribs, Ribs, Ribs (did I say Ribs?) & Brisket! We're talkin' TRUE BBQ!!!! I've also smoked several whole chickens and even Spatchcocked this year's Christmas Turkey!!!! (I didn't even know I could DO that!) Don't waste time with pellets, this thing burns your choice of charcoal. The charcoal makes the difference. I get compliments whenever I fire up the Masterbuilt...when I hadn't even put the meat on yet!!!

Purchased my 560 about 1yr ago and can honestly say it is the best grill I have purchased. The grill has a slight learning curve but once figured out it's just as easy as a gas grill. In fact I haven't lit my Genesis II in I can't remember when. I cook 3-4 times a week on it burgers, fish, steak, pork butt and more it can do it all. Charcoal has flavor pellets just can't recreate.

This smoker has exceeded my expectations, my original smoker I was not able to balance in temps below 20 degrees, this one just said bring it on!
Easy to manage; fits great; gets the job done. Shipped from the mfg quickly too.
I have had the smoker for about 9 months and use it constantly. I love the ease in lighting and the ability to set a temperature and then walk away. I have had trouble with the connection on my smartphone if I get too far away, but I think that's actually an issue with my WIFI at home. I have not put anything on this smoker that didn't turn out well from rapid firing pizza to long brisket and pork shoulder cooks.

I've had the 1050 for almost a year now. I've made some excellent food with it. Overall I've enjoyed using it. The only issue I'm having is that the door closed sensor has stopped working. This causes the temperature to cutback when I don't want it to. It's an easy fix though.
This grill is the best investment I've made in some time. I have been wearing it out since purchasing it a few weeks back. The meat is smoking better than I could have hoped for. My friends with pellet smokers are jealous to say the least! I highly recommend this grill to anyone ranging from "beginner" to "grill master".
I have had this since around late spring last year. Pros: - Cooks excellent food - Easy to impart smoke flavor - Beefy compared to 560 - Can be ran off of a battery power setup if not using rotisserie - tons of cooking space - great for searing Cons: - Should be packaged better for shipping as units can be damaged easily - Cost of meat probes is a bit excessive - Slide setup should not have a "bend" piece for assembly as that can break - manifold should have a cover for easier cleanup - dial thermometer is accurate, but not adjustable in its location so will differ from what the digital says. - Software can be a bit quirky - grate for charcoal can let too much fall through for Gen1 units, easy fix though Summary All in all, a great unit. If Masterbuilt would make a version out of higher quality materials I would buy that again in a heart beat.
I have owned about every brand and type of grill and smoker. When we moved I got rid of my charcoal grill and electric smoker, they were old and I really did not want to transport them the 4 states away. I have used Gas and Charcoal grills and prefer Charcoal, I have used gas and electric smokers and found the electric the easiest to maintain temperature and did a good job of giving a smoke ring. I wanted one system that did both. The gravity with chunk charcoal has been awesome. I have done several smokes now and though it feels the charcoal use is a bit high, the temperature is always consistent, and the smoke rings are great. I used 15lbs of charcoal for a 24 hour smoke of 20lbs of pulled pork. Came out beautiful. I love the lump charcoal the traditional charcoal taste and the great temperature control. I do find grilling a bit of a pain as grilling is such a short cycle and charcoal is a pain just for small quick cook (all charcoal grills, and I cook for 2 most of the time so to have a couple of hamburgers for dinner it is a bit of a pain). But I find the gravity to make this a bit simpler and saves the unused charcoal for the next cook.

First time smoker here. I knew I loved cooking and wanted to have some kind of seriousness for smoking before really committing to it. Shopped around and couldn't find anything worthy of buying because it was either too slow a smoker, wasnt reliable, or didn't produce the flavors and colors I wanted. Upon my first burn out to prep for smoke, I was amazed on the amount of smoke it was generating. Love how quickly this unit comes up to temp and how quickly it can resmoke itself after needing to open it to do a quick check, wrap, or rotation of the meat. Highly recommend it to others who are especially on the fence for looking for that perfect smoker. I've owned it almost a year now and all my friends and family think I'm a pitmaster now but I really gotta give most of the credit to my 560 for its ease of use.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
