I have had the Masterbuilt 560 for about a year now and have throughly enjoyed cooking on it. I have several offset smokers and this is the closest thing to that flavor I can get with a PID controller type smoker. The only problem is the actual temperature the PID controller reads is not accurate compared to the ink bird thermometer.

I bought my smoker a year ago and it's still going strong. My review is only 4 stars because the hopper that holds the coals is made cheaply as well as the buttons that sense the lid position. If you want to use the Wi-Fi feature you better have full service on your phone, if you have 1-2 bars of WiFi on your phone you won't have any WiFi signal on the smoker. I had to install another access point near the smoker to connect to my home network.
This is the best outdoor cooker I have ever had. Food on here is phenomenal and hands down beats the bullet smoker and offset smoker I used to use, not to mention the ability to sear and grill. Have done burgers, reverse sear steaks, smoked wings, rotisseries prime rib, rotisseries chickens and turkey, spatchcoked chicken, brisket, butts, tri tip, pizza and more. The flavor and temp control can't be beat. Very fuel efficient, fast and easy to get up to temp. After 9 months I have not had any issues with the control panel or any of the switches. The grates and internals all seem fine. I am getting some rust and air leaks on the char coal hopper. Hopefully newer versions will beef of the material and from what I hear, they already have a better ceramic coating on the hopper parts instead of paint. I will clean it up and add some high temp grill paint and hopefully it will last a few more years or more. I use the grill almost weekly if not more. It is awesome! Highly recommend
My wife actually did the research on this as a Christmas present-am I glad she did! It works incredibly for smoking, and grilling. I can't wait until we get some warmer weather to use it more!

Prior to purchasing my Masterbuilt 1050 I had a Traeger pellet grill/smoker. The masterbuilt 1050 is superior in every way. First using real would chunks vs wood pellets offer a superior smoking experience and flavor and with the 1050 the use of charcoal as the fuel source also adds and additional layer of flavor that I did not get when I used my Traeger. Secondly, the 1050 reaches and maintains the temperature faster and more accurately and finally, I can go from a smoking temperature of 250 degrees to a searing temperature of 700 degrees in less the. 10 minutes, something that was impossible to do with my Traeger. The Masterbuilt 1050 Gravity Smoker/grill is far better then the Traeger line of smoker/grills on the market today.
The first 560 we bought, after the second time using the thermal probe quit working. I was ok with this as whatever I have a separate thermal probe unit to do the same thing. The kicker was when the fan quit working a week later. Luckily we were within the return period and brought it back to the store, and picked up a second one. This one has worked correctly so far but I'm definitely leery. We will see. I love what it produces and I hope Masterbuilt continues refining it and makes it more consumer friendly. Especially for the price.
Bought it for convenience. Needed an alternative to a pellet grill and offset smoker. This thing deals. Only gripe is this thing leaks like a mother. 4 out of 5
bought this unit last year for my birthday! best gift I ever got for myself!!!
Had almost a year and some switches are acting up and blower fan is going to need replaced. Been used quite a bit but going to have to do some modifications

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
