I bought this about a month ago. I love the rotisserie, but I had to trim the metal piece that fits inside the part that goes through the gravity 1050 from the motor to the inside of the grill. If you tighten this fitting like the instructions tell you to, the metal piece that holds the rotisserie binds and causes the rotisserie to stick and not turn.

I bought this for my 800 series after looking it up on Masterbuilts website. It came with two spots, one that was for a 560 and the other for a 1050 none for the 800. I had to have the longer one cut down to fit my 800 series, other than that it works as intended.

Originally received only the 560 and 1050 spits, so I was delayed a bit. Masterbuilt responded quickly and I'm in full operation now.

As soon as I received this I planed a simple cook, whole chicken. Was thinking this will be simple. So I check it about one hour into cook and the collar that threads into the motor was no longer connected and the chicken wasn't spinning. The next time I cooked with it, I noticed it changed rotation direction, and a I am not sure why. So I know now why the collar unscrewed from the motor. The next cook, it did the same thing. I guess I need to contact MasterBuilt.

I used a store brand and then they were out. These end up costing about the same and delivered to my house.

Very easy to use. Flavor is incredible. Electronics are not the best. VERY cheap metals used. Would still buy again. It's truly fun to use!!!

Purchased this grill and it has not disappointed. Completely replaced our Browning Smoker and our propane grill. It is just as easy as a propane but without the same issues are you get with a propane. All food has come out amazing, the temperature setting is essential for cooking your food properly and evenly. We bought the 1050 because the 800 was sold out so it is larger then we wanted or needed but it is still an amazing grill.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
