We bought this a month ago and have smoked pork, chicken, turkey and beef. If you desire the best of charcoal, the consistency of pellets and the taste of professional bbq, this is the smoker for any backyard bbq chef.
The I side lid had 2 long straps of glue holding a sign on it. I scrapped and scrubbed and washed and cooked it to no luck. WHY would you do this Masterbuilt? In my opinion it ruined my smokee
I bought this model about 2-3 month. In the beginning I was happy, good construction and quality product. After some weeks I got difficulties starting it. If there is too much coal or if it is not shaken properly it is difficult to start. The err04 will appear each time even if it starts well, this seems a common occurrence, not just me, and is very annoying. After what the controller with beep unexpectedly for no reason. Then the fan will go off for no reason. It seems the controller fails to recognize the closed door switches. Fixing the door locks will not help, this again seems common when I read other review. Not happy anymore, and because I saw other reviews with those same issues, I would not recommend sorry.
I purchased a grill approximately six weeks ago cooks great little disappointed in the time it takes to heat up. Sometimes it kicks off and have to restart the grill.

I bought my grill approximately 7 months ago. Wanted to smoke some ribs and the fan went out. I used this grill about 20 times before this happen. Time to go back to ole reliable ways, non electric.

The grill covee I bought was of higher quality than I expected and at a good price.
I purchased a Masterbuilt Gravity Feed 560 smoker/grill about a month ago after reviewing several smoker/grills. I'm still getting used to cooking on this grill so allow me to tell you what I have experienced so far. Day of delivery, we actually used the instructions to put the grill together. Instructions were easy to follow but expect to spend a couple of hours to put together correctly. Day after delivery, I did the burn out and seasoning burns per instructions. I actually repeated 3 times like I do with my cast iron pans.(The grills are cast iron so made sense to me). Day 3 after delivery, I grilled up some hamburgers. I was a little disappointed because I was wanting some smokey flavors but didn't on that occasion. My next grilling experience was a couple of days later. I grilled up a couple of NY strips. I tried the reverse sear method, but when I tried to sear, the flames were pretty fierce. Not what I was expecting. Still no smokey nuance. I did more research and tried some wood chips in the bottom coal bucket. I smoked some salmon fillets and bacon wrapped scallops. Finally getting some familiar smoke flavor. I have grilled some ribs and used wood chunks in the gravity feed bin mixed with the hardwood lump charcoal. Much better. Today was brisket day. I still have to hone my methods but, temperature is pretty true when cooking low and slow. I used the electronic thermometer that was included with the grill. The temperature was 20 degrees over my trusty meat thermometer. Ease of use overall, I'm short, so have to stand on my toes to fill the charcoal hopper or to see how much is in there. Starts easy. True temperature on the low and slow. Controls are easy to use. Take some finesse to get comfortable cooking with it. My last grill was komado style smoker/grill with no electronics but required lump charcoal and I had it for 7 years. I hope this one will last as long. By the way, my son is buying one because of my purchase.

I purchased this for my husband as a house warming gift. Best gift ever! He tells me how much he loves it all the time. He loves being able to use charcoal and how hot the grill gets. The first thing he grilled was steak and it was AMAZING! Had a nice char on the outside and cooked to perfection inside. He loves the wifi meat thermometer also. Great buy!
I have owned most every type of grill on the market and typically always went back to my kettle style charcoal grill. The Gravity Series 800 has now changed that and can do it all! Everything I cook on here is consistently juicy and flavorful to the point where I think you'd have to try to overcook something. I use less charcoal than a kettle style grill and it lights in about half of the time. The griddle feature is the absolute icing on the cake and absolutely speaks for itself. Set up was easy and straight forward and done with minimal tools. From 16 hour briskets to some quick smash burgers this thing has you covered!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
