Impressed that from lighting to 350 degrees temp took under 5 min. Instructions were decent - awkward depiction of the opening handle - had to remove and turn mine around. Also, the main heat outlet inside that attaches to a brace on the left needs to be attached with #12 sheet metal screws instead of the supplied threaded screws, which will strip out (fasteners harder than the steel they are threaded into) Finally, the app needs fundamental comm software work - no bluetooth or reliable wifi connection with an Android 11 phone - essentially unusable

May require two people to lift as the box it comes in (and a pallet) is heavy. Everything was included so no missing or broken parts. Took about less than an hour to assemble and no special tools needed. Everything worked right out of the box. Loaded the app on my iPhone and connected to it via Bluetooth. Updated the firmware and I was off and running, or in this case, grilling! The only "mod" I made to it was I placed a thin piece of sheet metal on the lid opening to the hopper. The lid still seals as it has a gasket surrounding the perimeter of the lid. Filled up the hopper with Kingsford Professional charcoals along with some Cherry wood chunks and used Tumbleweed starters to get the coals burning. Set the temp to 225-degrees and within just a couple of minutes, my smoker was rising in the desired temperature. Impressive! Plus, it keeps the temperature within 3-degrees or so when you open the grill lid as it speeds up the blower fan to make up for the loss of hot air and smoke. Again, very impressive! My smoke took about 5 hours to complete and I only used about 1/3 to 1/2 of a bag of charcoal. When done, I inserted the air dampers which after about 30 mins, the briquettes burned out leaving the un-burned briquettes in the hooper for the next smoke. Love it! That's a cost savings. Everyone that's seen it is totally impressed by it. I'm proud of my Gravity Series 1050 charcoal grill and give it a full 5-star rating.

I bought this smoker about 2 months ago and have done many cooks. It is by far one of the best smokers and most versatile cooking tool that I have ever used. The taste that it gives is amazing. I highly recommend this product to anyone that enjoys playing around with a great smoker.

This is a very good grill. It hold temperature very well, It heats up to selected temperature very quickly. The temperature and time controls are easy to operate. The grill is easy to move around, loading fuel and dumping ash is very easy. I am having a problem with rust developing on manifolds and grease leaking from unexpected areas.

I had the 560 so my wife was not the most excited when I came home with an 800. Saturday morning breakfasts have quickly changed her position. This grill is literally the best of all worlds, smoking, grilling and griddle.

I've had this Grill for 4.5 months now and it's been a piece of junk from day 1, had to install a new control panel, 2 new safety switches , the Control panel is still jacked up, and now the Fan has stopped working right in the middle of a Brisket cook, I've asked Masterbuilt for a full refund and they will not stand behind there Smokers, I highly suggest you go by yourself a good Pitboss , stay away from these smoker's absolutely pathetic................. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT.......

fantastic grill. the 2 things I was concerned with - starting and shutting down - are no problem what so ever. it fires up and is ready to cook faster than my propane grill and is cool enough to put the cover on within a half hour. It holds it's temp accurately for hours. the downside is that the android app is absolutely useless. not even worth downloading.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
