This is a fantastic charcoal griddle, grill, smoker! It is so easy to light and the temperature control system let's you "set it and forget it". You can use lump or briquette charcoal and for smoking you can add your favorite smoking real wood chunks or splits. The grill is nice sized and easy to cook on. You can get the temperature high enough to sear your meats really well or even bake pizza like a pro!

Just received my Gravity 800, beatufil machine. Very well packed, and very clear assembly instructions. Just went through the seasoning steps and it is a wonder to see how nicely it works. One issue, though - all those marketing materials glued to the equipment! why? I already bought it, you don't need to convince me how good is it!. I rated this with one star to call the attention of the fine marketing pals, because I have a challenge for them: Why don't you try shipping yourselves one of these, to get the temperature abuse on the glue, and then try to remove the glue from the marketing materials?!?! In most places, with much effort, I could remove it, but inside the lid, and especially ugly, on top of the programmer steel platform, there are glue stains that will stay there forever! Thanks, marketing guys for all your glue

I've owned my masterbuilt for a little over a year now. I'm the owner of small bbq catering business, but my masterbuilt is reserved for personal use only. I use my grill at least four times per week. It's has been the most versatile and easiest grill I've ever owned. I smoke everything from mackerel to cookies without any hiccups. I've named my grill big earl and big earl never fails to perform. Highly recommend

The lumps are too big and hang up in the hopper. This causes the grill to not maintain temperature.

So far has been a great product we have used approximately 10 times in last month for ribs, tri tips, chicken and steak. Also done some veggies, chilli, cheesy bread and temperature adjustment and ability to maintain has been great

Best decision ever. The griddle is amazing. 3-2-1 some ribs and it's worth it the very first time you use it. Beautiful item. Not hard to put together if you have two people. Maybe an hour. Worth it!

Only one minor annoyance. The cable/tie in the perimeter of the base of the cover is very elastic so it is difficult to make sure it is pulled tight around the based of the grill when covering. Other than this, the material is great, and compared to other grill covers I have had in the past, does not seem like it will dry out and crack and peel after a few years outside. Keeps the grill dry and clean in a New England autumn.

Lights quickly. Gets grill going in a matter of minutes. Wish they were easier to find in brick and mortar stores.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
