I bought in March last year, was working perfect but suddenly the control panel stop working, when my husband open it to see why it is not turning on, he saw a lose wire. This happen at the end of January (only 10 months). I contact the costumer service. They said they will send me a new control panel. After a little more than a month still didn't receive anything. Beside that BIG problem ( because I cannot use it anymore) the food taste good.

After a month or so i still love this thing. I left the weber smokefire ex6 for this and it has put out much better food than pellets could. It feels pretty well built. It cooks great and smokes a ton, which was my biggest reason for purchasing it. There is a ton of cooking space. Everything comes apart nice and easy to clean as well. The controller isnt bad at all, mine runs within 15-20 degrees below of what its set at but its consistent across the board so thats nice. Things i think it needs is a bigger hopper, better seals on the hopper door and ash tray door, and the app for your phone rarely works if ever. I think for the 1050 it could really benefit from maybe another 6"-12" taller hopper or make the hopper an inch or 2 wider on the insode diameters for enough fuel for 12+ hour smokes. The seals could use like a rope style gasket instead of what they have, the hopper lid does let out a little smoke, doesnt affect your end results at all though. The app does not work for me, as ive tried using it multiple times. That definitely is not a deal breaker at all.

Fantastic grill/smoker! Gets to desired temperature really quickly and stays exactly where you set it. Easy to reload during long smokes without disrupting the temperature or releasing smoke in the chamber. Multiple temperature probes make it easy to monitor different meats at the same time. App was very easy to connect. All in all, fantastic grill/smoker without breaking the bank!

What a fantastic addition to the grill , whole chicken is awesome. Had to make a very small adjustment to the warmer rack rail but very simple to fix so middle rack would slide back into unit after installing the rotisserie rod holder.

Makes lighting the coals a simple task. Just insert 2 or 3 cubes in the coals, light, and come back 10 minutes later

Just received my brand new MB800 and put it to the test after the 2 seasonings rounds suggested by MB. It's a great "tool" to perform great cooking in many styles. The "light and forget" feature using the app to monitor is great and a great relief from traditional grills. Only downside is the Hopper internal painting not being resistant to heat (as the pic shows it went ). I was expecting more from MB specially in this particular area where we all know the heat will be recurrent to have a more durable painting.

Grill itself works pretty well. Construction is good. Took forever to assemble, practically had to mine the iron ore and smelt it during assembly. Lots of advertisement glued on the unit which was very annoying. The glue did not peel off with the ads so I had to try and use IPA to get it off and even that didn't work very well. Very annoying to have this glue inside the cooking area when it's from ads for something I already bought. As for cooking the grill works well. Using wood in the ash tray seems to work well to get smoke flavor. I have had traeger and other pellet smokers and the smoke flavor is definitely better on this. The Bluetooth on this thing does not work great in its current state. The range is bad and I found out that if you use the phone app the smoker will randomly shut off ( no really, just Google this issue) so now I don't use the app at all after this happened to me twice. Summary is the grill itself works well if you get past the assembly and fact that you can't use the Bluetooth features.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
