Masterbuilt Pizza Oven Insert for Gravity Series 800 & 1050 Models - MB20181722

I have the Gravity Series 1050 for 2 years now and it single handedly makes every meal taste professional and delicious! I recommend using basic, unflavored, charcoal briquettes as a full hopper will give you consistently 8 hours of smoke time and fires up to 700 really quickly. I have tried lump and flavored briquettes (applewood and hickory specifically) and I wasn't as happy with the burn time. Also, the flavored briquettes tend to leave more soot in the hopper which can prevent the charcoal from dropping properly. I had an issue within 6 months where the sensors on my hopper doors went out but I called Masterbuilt and they not only sent me 3 new sensors but also a replacement computer and 2 new fans within a week. Also I live in Minnesota and have smoked meat in the middle of winter. Even at 0° outside the grill holds its temp within 5°. Awesome customer support and a ton a great food has come off my grill/smoker which is why I give it 5 solid stars. Well built machine!

Well, I need to start off with a little background of myself. Been competing in barbecue for sometime now with great results on old school pits and having a control fire and temperature yourself. As I got older, I decided to look for something that will make my life easier at home. I knew I didn't want a pellet grill and I knew I didn't want a gas grill. Lord, and behold, the gravity series 1050 came out, and the game was over! I decided to continue to compete in barbecue and first place was guaranteed! I now own two gravity series 1050's and a gravity series 800. Smoking and grilling is now very well-known in my backyard and I do a lot of catering as well. Can't wait for the XT to be sitting next to my trophy grills. That will be coming soon! I'm sure that will convince you to go out and buy any of the gravity series smoker's as we speak. So if you were looking for confirmation on a good cook, good grill, good smoker, you're wasting your time and not getting it. This is the one and only grill you will ever need.

I bought this grill when it was first released. It truly is a versatile grill. Alot of other brands claim to be multi use. This one does all the things it say and does them well. Just a few minor this have broken like door sensors. But all early replace after contacting masterbuilt. I would highly recommend this grill. I can't wait to purchase the new release with all upgraded components.

The app notifies me of certain things but nothing can be adjusted through it. It's garbage. If you use it like a regular smoker it's a great cooking device.

I absolutely love this machine! Has made many people compliment me on my cooking. It's so good that my best friend went out and got the exact same one! Ease of use and the wifi are key to being successful cooking on this cooker. If mine got hit by a meteor tonight, I'd buy another tomorrow.

I bought this last fall before Thanksgiving, it showed up with part of the shell bent, not masterbuilts fault, they replaced the shell rather quick and easy. It fires up quick and holds temp well. Smoked turkey turns out fantastic on it. Couple gripes, not much room for water pan, but that will be the same issue with a lot of non-cabinet style. Wish there was a little more room but it works real well. Griddle takes a while to fully heat up. Wifi can be a bit finicky but works good overall. Recommended to my dad and he got one as well and loves it. Less parts to fail than a pellet grill.

I bought the 1050 in January of 2024. I use 8 to 10 times a month. The best ribs, chicken, brisket, pork butt and chicken wings I've ever made!! It sears my ribeye perfect every time. I would recommend this to anyone looking to make smoking and cooking meat outside a little more effortless than traditional stick burners.

Just buy it already! This thing is a beast. It can smoke at 225 for hours then all the way up to 700 to get a perfect sear. I've used it both for long cooks on ribs and brisket and hot and fast for the perfect steak. Need a flat top? Get this and a cast iron griddle or a large cast iron pan - let it heat up and you'll get more flavor than a Blackstone!

I purchased my 800 series smokers about three years ago, it is used at least twice a month and it has never given any problems.
