The control board in my grill died just past the 1 year warranty. I purchased a new control board through Masterbuilt. It died after 66 days. I contacted Masterbuilt to get the new control board replaced. They told me that their return policy on replacement parts is only 45 days, and there is nothing they could do. If they "built" a better product, maybe they would stand behind it.

I have had this grill for a little over two years and have not been able to use the product for half a year because the hopper is rusting out through the lower steal sleeve leaving me with a product I cannot use. This grill is under a cover when not in use and is rusting from the inside out. Additionally the control surface is cracking despite the fact my grill stays under a cover until use.

I love the grill! Have a couple of issues but no biggies. Had a damaged plastic handle end but was able to use. I registered and requested replacements. Got both ends and the pipe. Good job MB. Starting can be a little pesky. I bought little Duroflame compressed starter blocks. Worked fine the first time, but had a little trouble not lighting the next. I added a little kindling in the bottom of the hopper to light quicker and that helps. One time added a few drops of light fluid to the starter blocks and lit perfectly. Fuel burns up way before food is added. The app looses connection and is tricky to get linked back. Would be nice to cook at 225 degrees, but 250 did great on 4 cooks. 3 pork buts and 1 beef brisket. Delish! I mix in some soaked wood chucks for better smoke. My favorite thing about this grill is the tight temperature control and less worry to maintain.

Bought this to get into smoking and followed the provided instructions to a T. Long story short the smoker is not capable of maintaining a steady low temperature, even with the air vents cut off it struggles to not overheat and I've had to simply leave it overnight with the vents closed for the coals to finally stop burning. Steer clear of this product unless you want to use it as a grill given that it can maintain very high temperatures only but why bother at that price point you can get a far better grill.

Great smoker or for just normal grilling. Love the charcoal flavor with the ease of a pellet grill. Switching out to the griddle to make breakfast or fajitas is awesome

I've had the 1050 for about two years. The smoke quality is amazing and the amount space to cook is wonderful. I love using this for low and slow meals as well as searing a steak. You can't go wrong with the 1050!

BEST GRILL I'VE EVER OWNED. AS EASY TO CLEAN AS A GAS GRILL BUT WITH A CHARCOAL FLAVOR AND YOU CAN ADD AS MUCH SMOKE AS YOU WOULD LIKE.

This was the first smoker I've ever bought. I wanted to Buy a smoker that would be efficient and easy to use after I got my smoker. I found that it was not only easy to use. It produced great tasting food so if you're interested in buying a very simple smoker that does an excellent job on all kinds of meats, I would buy this smoker

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
