The Gravity Series 800 has been the best smoker/grill/griddle I've ever used. I've been using my GS800 for several years now and it consistently turns out the best foods.
This will be an honest review as I've owned mine for several years now. The versatility and flexibility of this product is really phenomenal. And in my opinion, nothing beats charcoal for most grilling applications, but being able to add wood (for smoking or grilling) is amazing. Some of the best meals I've ever made or eaten were made on this grill. So, why four stars? I've worked hard to maintain my grill and extend its longevity, but I question the design and life of this product, for very specific parts of the unit. The channel that directs the heat at the bottom has essentially burned through and has holes in it at this point, so heat is no longer distributed evenly at all, and really the whole bottom of the unit feels pretty sketchy at this point after a few years of use. I'm not sure what the expected lifetime of these units is, but with the price tag they have I personally would expect it to last 5-10 years or more. Also, about six months ago the unit started to refuse to be controlled to the app, even though it is connected to the unit. And the temperature dial is fussy as all get out. So, do I love all the things this product can do? Absolutely. But, complicated care requirements and lack of longevity make me take away a star. I would take off a star and a half if I could. 3.5 stars feels about right. Perhaps they may have made improvements in the time since my purchase, but that's my experience with the one I own. When it's time to buy a new grill, I'm truly not sure if it will be another Masterbuilt next time.
I love the versatility and at a great price. Great charcoal flavor.
I have been using my 1050 for over a year now. As the title says, this thing is a workhorse. I have had several other brands of pellet smokers but the versatility of the Gravity Series is unmatched. You get the ease of a pellet smoker BUT the charcoal/wood smoker taste and cook. I can do everything from smoking pork belly at 165 degrees all the way upto to super hot searing or roasting veggies for salsa. Nevermind the flavor this thing produces for everything inbetween! The only thing I wish it came with was a stainless steel heat manifold. Beyond that, I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

I've used my rotisserie about 5 times since I purchased my MB800 about 2 months ago and the heaviest protein i put on it was like 12lbs and it handled it with no issues.
Ever since I got my MB800 I cook big breakfasts every weekend and I've used the rotisserie once a week and I love the bark I get on my brisket. I use Char-logs and wood chunks for smoking and it tastes just like my offset but the convenience of a pellet grill.
I have been using the gravity series 1050 since 2020. I have cooked a little bit of everything on here. Brisket, pork, steak, veggies, turkey. Everything has been great! There have been some issues with door switches melting (mostly due to my own mistakes). I highly recommend this unit!
These starters do the job! I normally use 2 to start my fire and I get about 10 min of burn to get my fire started.
I've had the 800 gravity plus pizza over for a few years now. Brought it with my from cali to tx. Added some extra parts to make sure it would last and it doesn't disappoint. WiFi and screen a bit worn out but otherwise still creating amazing meats and pizza. Used it for coffee roasting too.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
