An Electric Grill That Delivers Real Wood Flavor
Many of us have a Ninja air fryer in our kitchens. If you're like us, you've probably tried to push its limits and tried to air-fry some things that might be outside the norm. For instance, we swear by air-frying sausage links, hot dogs, and any number of non-usually-fried foods. Word must have gotten out because Ninja has now brought us a product designed to cook steaks, burgers, ribs, roasts, brisket, and much more and they've engineered it to work outdoors! Ninja has packed so many capabilities and features into their Woodfire outdoor grill, you won't believe you get all this in a product that has exterior dimensions of less than 3-1/2 cubic feet and weighs just 31 pounds!
The Woodfire not only grills, but it also smokes, air fries, dehydrates, roasts, broils, and bakes. It's one of the most versatile grills we've ever seen.
Woodfire Technology
The Ninja Woodfire includes an integrated smoke box and a high-powered convection fan that work together to deliver genuine wood-fired flavor with an electric grill. The smoke box provides wood flavoring with just a cup of hardwood pellets, and you can use any flavor of hardwood pellets you desire. The convection fan circulates the heat and smoke around your food to cook it faster and more evenly.
A Master Grill that Behaves and Cooks Like a Propane Grill
Get the sear marks you expect from a much larger gas grill, along with even cooking and true wood-fired flavor.
A True BBQ Smoker in a Smaller Size
Using just a cup of hardwood pellets, get authentic barbecue bark and taste faster and easier than most smokers. Unlike traditional pellet smokers, the pellets aren't called upon to provide the cooking heat, only the flavor.
An Outdoor Air Fryer Seals the Deal
Just like the one in your kitchen, only designed to introduce wood-fired flavor. The Woodfire air fryer has a large capacity.
Grill Just About Anywhere
The Woodfire Grill is perfect for camping, backyards, tailgating, and anywhere else you can access a 120-volt outlet, including a generator.
Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill FAQ
Is the Ninja Woodfire a pellet grill?
Not in the traditional sense. It doesn't burn wood pellets to provide the cooking heat. Instead, it heats the pellets to introduce a wood-fired flavor to food you are grilling or smoking.
How big is the Ninja Woodfire?
The Woodfire is a portable electric grill designed to be, well, portable. It measures 18.58-in wide, 23.62-in deep, and 13.31-in high. It weighs in at just 31 pounds. The cooking grid measures 15 x 11 inches, for a total grilling area of 141 square inches.
Is the Ninja Woodfire available in other colors?
BBQGuys also carries the Ninja Woodfire in Red.
Can you refill the Smoke Box with pellets during your cook?
If your cook is planned for a long time, you can add more pellets Ninja recommends adding them when your original batch of pellets is about half burned, but not to refill the smoke box more than 1 or 2 times. If your first batch of pellets has burned completely, add more pellets then press and hold the Woodfire Flavor Technology button for 3 seconds to ignite the new pellets.
Can I use the Woodfire as a charcoal grill?
No. Please don't try this as it may destroy your grill, not to mention your warranty.
Can I power the Ninja Woodfire grill with my RV or a portable power supply?
You sure can, as long as the power outlets can provide 15 amps of 120-volt AC power.
Can you use the Ninja Woodfire indoors?
No. The Woodfire Outdoor Grill & Air Fryer is designed for outdoor use only. If you use it indoors you risk releasing unhealthy smoke fumes in your home. Please don't try this.

IT IS PERFECT FOR ME AND MY HUSBAND !! VERY FAST, FOOD IS MOIST AND SO EASY TO CLEAN UP !!!
Since I live in an apartment I was very excited to get a grill that could be used in an apartment environment and give me a real "woodfire" flavor. It has given me moderately positive results. I got the model with the temperature probe, and on my first attempt at smoking a chicken, left the chicken slightly undercooked and had to be finished in the microwave. Steaks and burgers turned out better results. All foods prepared with the smoke feature resulted in mild smoke flavor, even with the robust blend pellets.
I bought this less than a month ago, I have truly enjoyed cooking on it, we tried a pork shoulder smoked and it was tender and juicy, awesome
So far I'm loving the Ninja Woodfire™ Outdoor Grill. I took some time to read the directions so set up was a breeze. It's so nice to have so many functions in one grill! It's a little on the small side, but it's just my husband and myself to cook for so it works for us!
This is one exciting grill. I have had many grills in the past and I still have my Weber gas grill and my Weber charcoal grill at home, but I love this grill's versatility, especially the wood fire smoke ability. This grill does it all!
I have had this product for a few weeks and so far I am blown away. So far I've used the grill, smoker, and air crisp functions. Each has worked perfectly, from the grilled pork chops to the smoked ribs to the air crisped drumsticks. I also just smoked a tender and juicy bacon wrapped pork loin that was one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten. Setup and use is super straightforward. Just attach the handles and you'll be cooking delicious meats in no time. I love the fact that you can add smoke flavor no matter which cooking function you're using (except broil I believe). It comes with a pellet scoop and two sample bags of pellets. Cleanup is also quick and easy. The grill, air fryer basket, and drip tray are all detachable and easy to wash in the sink. It is small compared to other grills and smokers, but I was still able to fit about 3 pounds of drumsticks in the air fryer basket at once. I also smoked a whole rack of ribs on it. The cord is also kind of short, so make sure you have an outlet nearby or extension cord handy. Overall I have been very impressed with the ease of use, quality of food, and convenience of cleaning. I was initially skeptical of the price point, but the versatility of this unit is well worth it. Go buy it!
Of the 3 ninja grills I own or have owned, the woodfire sears and crisps meat much better than the others. The Grate just gets hotter. Air fry function works as other indoor ninja grills. As a smoker, it's great, but I needed to modify a bit. Let me explain. The woodfire grill puts out dirty smoke, which leaves tongue tip tingling from creosote. I needed to add an easy fix to this. I have owned three pellet grills and 6 electric smokers, Finally settling with an LEM model. Two of these smokers had glass doors. When I used the builtin smoker boxes for long smokes, the glass always had an orange glaze on it. Many years ago, I switched to an indirect MB smoke generator which connects to my big smoker with10 feet of tubing. The glass doors stayed clean and clear. After using the woodfire on Smoke setting and Grill with added smoke, I realized that the metallic tingling on my tongue tip was creosote. The white puffy smoke cloud produced by the pellet hopper is dirty smoke. My work around using the Smoke function is to use 90 grade cheesecloth to cover the food. I also insert 4 or 5 wooden toothpicks to lift the cloth off the food. The results are a cleaner sweeter smoke. I then dispose the orange coated cheesecloth. Yes, the cheesecloth gets saturated with smoke particles turning it orange. For Grilling steak and chops, I use the CLD (cold smoke) smoker setting which is thr very first before temperatures show. After half to full hour, I remove meat, turn to Grill Hi and follow directions, 2 1/2 minutes a side for me. A word about the CLD, as I called Ninja support to learn its temperature and was told that there is no CLD choice in Smoker mode, and asked me to send pics which I did. Still have not heard back. But when my cold smoke salmon was finished in 1 hour, I quickly put my instant read thermometer inside slightly cracked open hood and got 85° internal. It appears that the heating elements do not turn on and all heat is generated by the pellet box. It would be great to read temperature ranges for each mode in the manual. And I have been using my own supply of pellets as well as the Ninja ones and there is no difference in smoke output or duration. To sum up, this Grill is the best of all my Ninja grills, can add fantastic clean smoke flavor when coveting food with cheesecloth, can cold and hot smoke, sears meats with great Grill marks, as well as airfreight and all it's other functions. I still have 6 larger grills/ smokers outside and the woodfire is becoming my go to favorite.

Once I set it up I felt a little intimidated and wanted to give it a fair rating so I wanted a few days till I was able to read the booklet and understand how to do se it. I cooked two meals so far one was with corn on the cob, baked Patagonia and chicken wings, the other was 2 steaks medium rare. Both meals were the best. My husband is on dialysis which restricts me from using a lot of seasoning and salt products. I purchased this so I could not only charcoal his food but smoke it. Great giving him the taste in foods that he would be lacking. It is a game changer for him. He is now able to enjoy his food and fall within the guidelines of what he can and cannot eat on dialysis. Not to mention how easy it is to clean up. One pan and let you he smoker cool then wipe down. Easy breeze. Could not ask for more.
The Ninja Woodfire outdoor grill is really an amazing appliance. The grill has multiple settings to grill, airfry, bake, roast, dehydrate, and broil. You have the choice to use the smoke setting or to not. We have yet to have anything we have made not come out amazing. Wings, roast, chicken thighs, steaks and even beef jerky have all been great and so easy. Our personal favorite has been wings, we use no sauce just some simple seasoning and aircrisp and smoke, they are beyond delicious and are done in approximately 25mins. I had planned on saucing and then grillong to crisp them up but I was amazed at how crisp the outside was and I did not need to even give them anytime on the grill setting. The grill is easy to clean and I haven't had any issues with stuck on hard to remove food. The Pellat woodbox is easy to fill and dump. One scoop lasted an entire 6 hours while dehydrating. It has been great to take items outside to cook instead of having to use the oven. The grill is pretty heavy so if you are able get the stand it makes moving the grill around so much easier.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
